When pulling into then parking lot we were dramatically cut off by a lady who rushed to park and it appeared as though she hustled into the restroom.
We parked and had to push the order button multiple times. After finally getting help we had to repeat our order several times, which they still got wrong!!!! We also had ordered a large, as we were traveling and had our dogs with us and we wanted a cup of water for them. When our order was brought out to us lady was rushed to toss us our food and was a bit upset with us as we were not in our car but standing outside of it stretching our legs. Heaven forbid!
As I was getting the dogs back I. The car a quick peak at our order and the errors with drinks and sides were noticed. Additionally the water was missing. Not really concerned with the error in our order I (mind you I am disabled and walking is very painful for me) went inside to get the missing water. It took a bit for a worker to notice me, no biggie there were a few customers in drive thru, when she did I explained that I didn’t the cup of water I ordered. Another lady, the one who cut us off in the parking lot and parked up front, started to talking to me in a less than hospitable tone and told water wasn’t free and I would need to pay. I asked how much the water was so I could hobble out to my car and get the money. She kept on going about how I didn’t order it, which I know I did, and not in a nice manner. She ended up giving me the water all the while she was getting upset with me over the water situation. None the less water was retrieved.
But ultimately what lead to my leaving a one star review. Is how sad and disappointing our food was. We spent $52 and threw out most of our food. The burgers were dry and felt like they had been sitting for hours our poppers were so over cooked I broke a tooth, and the chicken poppers my son got were versions of uncooked and overcooked. The fries appeared to cook in oil that was way past its date.

Read moreI pull up to the speaker for the drive up and was told "welcome to sonic, order when your ready" I tried to start ordering and I was interrupted with the same saying. I then tried again and for a third time I was interrupted. Finally, I said my whole order and after I did I was told "Hold on a second" I waited for 7 minutes. Then I was " ok you can order" after at this point its been 4 times I've tried to say my order. Then I asked for a large drink with no ice and I said it twice. I was asked if everything on the screen looked OK. I said no the large drink I want with no ice. I was then told to pull up. I get my food then alas the woman working had me with ice! I told her I asked for no ice. She she takes my drink, takes the lid off and just scoops out the ice which already are my drink watered down, adds a little bit more sprite with no vanilla that I asked for, puts the lid on and gives it too me. Again, still some ice in my drink. If I ask for no ice in my drink and I wind up with ice, then make me a whole new drink with no ice. What this woman did was super lazy, unprofessional and inconsiderate all around. Theb the milkshake I ordered did not taste good. I had to throw that out. Read moreHad a long day, forgot to stop at the grocery store. Ordered some food in the app, set up an account, entered my cc info. Last button says they will start making your order immediately. I figure I'll drive over first so my food doesn't sit. Apparently app ordering closes an hour before the store (it does say so, but is in no way obvious.) Even if it is 5 minutes after ordering closes and you're sitting in their drive thru with a mobile order ready to submit, you can't, because the button has gone gray.
Store personnel explained it was "not possible" to give me the deal I could show them on my phone. Simple mistake I'll never make again, should be an easy fix. Sonic's representative chose to claim it was not fixable, and lost my business.
Sonic customer service offered training on using the app and a small shake, while thinking the app malfunctioned for most of the call. It is working as intended.
Hey Sonic, FIX YOUR APP, do something like close ordering so you can't start and give customers with an open order a notification and a countdown to finish. Or do what other fast food places do and let me submit an order, then check in...
