I went through the drive through just to order a drink before work a few days ago. With the current pandemic I think ppl should be more mindful about how they handle any and everything but especially food and beverages. The line wasn’t long for the drive through at all so I was able to Pretty much pull right up to the window. As I did the young lady who I will allow to remain nameless hands me my hot my drink out the window by the lid putting her entire hand over the rim of my cup including where I’d be sipping from. Normally I try to be understanding to this types of mindless mishaps but I am pregnant and with everything that is going on in the world And right here in our own community it did not sit well with me. I asked for a straw and napkin to clean the side of my cup that was messy and rather than asking for a new lid that she may have still handed to me improperly I just inserted the straw into my cup to drink my hot chocolate. I called to speak with a manager immediately after the mishap and realized she was the same woman who handed me the drink in the first place. She pretty much offered me a free drink which was sweet but definitely not why I was calling and she just kind of rushed me off the phone and made it seem like no big deal. I normally never leave reviews especially negative ones but I love Starbucks and it is one of the only places where I can go to any location and feel like I can get outstanding service but this location was a let down...
Read moreI often come to this location to get work done because the ambiance, in my opinion, is the nicest across the Starbucks in town. The baristas are fantastic - always friendly and engage with customers when able. However, I need to point something out that has been bothering me for some time now... Not sure if there are two managers here, but I've noticed that the male (if I recall, his name is Joe), has been repeatedly condescending towards the baristas. Some of his comments are just completely unwelcome and uncalled for, especially when the baristas are trying their hardest to make ends meet and get thru a rush (when are they not in a rush though?). I remember that this guy spoke with one of the female baristas and after their conversation, the girl turned around and wiped some tears. Oh my heart just went out to her. I wanted to go up to her and tell her that she was doing great.
I've had some small talk with some baristas in the cafe and in the drive thru, and they are always slammed and seem stressed. The baristas are lovely though. The other manager (the female) seems pleasant and friendly, though. Baristas seem to laugh with her too.
Joe, you need to take a walk and have some self-reflection about what baristas deal with day in and day out. To be honest, I think the atmosphere here is WAY better on days he's not here. I wouldn't want to work for this guy... the baristas deserve more than your...

Edit - I felt that I should update my review to reflect the change in this store. I didn't catch the name, but the person who helped me when I came in for my remake was not very nice. Didn't care to hear how the drink was wrong, just typed it all back in. Didn't tell the batista on bar how it was wrong. So she made it the same way. And after having to wait a total of 28min from start to finish, I just left with it. No point in going thru the same thing and hoping for a different result.
