Blue 32 Sports Grill — Restaurant in Chandler

This review is not to get anyone in trouble but hopefully used as a training opportunity for the manager to use with his staff...My husband and I came in Wednesday night for a date night, the place was not crowded at all and we were seated right away. So far so good. Our waiter greeted us and took our drink order, came back and asked what we would like. We both ordered sandwiches and as the waiter was writing down the orders I stated we would also like an order of fried pickles, to which the waiter said "okay as an appetizer?" I said "yes please". He wrote it down and said thanks. We waited not long and our sandwiches came out but no appetizer. Waiter came by about 10 minutes after we got our food. He asked us how everything was and I stated we still had not gotten the appetizer to which he then said oh that was his fault, he forgot to put them in. He said sorry and walked off. We assumed he was going to get them, so we started eating our food. We watched him go to each of his tables and take care of the others. We ate our food all the while thinking he was fixing his mistake and bringing the food we ordered. He did not and later brought us the check which did NOT have the fried pickles on the bill. I am a very kind person and know how tough the customer service industry can be and didn't raise a stink about it but I can guess anyone else, now and days, would have. The manager needs to speak with staff and inform them if there is a mistake that said mistake should have been rectified and the food should have been brought out to us. I will not let this hinder myself from coming and eating here because the food is amazing but the staff need to be up...

Perfect little neighborhood spot for football Sunday! The good was quality and delicious. I couldn't pass up trying the wing and rib combo. My choice of side was the sweet potato fries, and they as well were cooked perfectly. Nice crisp on the outside and light, tender and not greasy on the inside.

The wings I went boneless, and they were just about falling apart tender.

The ribs had a nice bark and were just about falling off the bone tender without being overcooked.

My 3 other compadres that joined me had nothing but good things to say as well about their meals. The service was spot on. I think they have telepathic powers. Not annoyingly in your face all the time, but just so happen to know when you need a fresh beer, napkin, or a refill on your water with lemon included.

They have lots of T.V.'s for the games. The atmosphere wasn't too loud and crazy, but you could feel the vibe in the air. Everyone around was enjoying their time their.

I wish I lived closer. Unfortunately, it's not in my neck of the woods.

The prices were right where they should be for food and drinks with the current inflation, so getting out of their cheap is unlikely unless you just get a couple of happy hour specials. I think that keeps the place right at capacity. A table freed up right when we got there, so we almost had to wait but didn't.

Beware! I recently ate at Blue 32 Sports Grill, a place I have eaten at several times since I moved to Chandler about 2 months ago. Have always liked the place until last Thursday.

We went in for lunch and I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap. About ¾ the way through the 1st half I began to choke on what felt like a sharp object. I had to run to the bathroom where I spent close to 10 minutes puking non stop trying to get the object removed. I had to stick my finger down my throat to retrieve the object which was a sliver of either plastic or wood.

While I understand issues like this happen, and it is life. I expressed what happened to my server, to which she laughed while she tried to apologized. A manager also came to check on me. Where my frustrations lie is we had to wait for our bill, then to find out I’m still being charged for a meal I didn’t even come close to eating. Then we again sit and wait for an extended period of time for our bill to be taken.

I sent a nice and polite email to the owner to which to date I have received no response at all.

I didn’t wish to cause a scene while at the restaurant but from a customer service stand point it was beyond horrible and I can honestly say I can’t imagine I will be returning soon and I hope no one...
