The end of an era. My family and I just saw our last movie at majestic theaters. We've been going to majestic since it first opened as Alamo Drafthouse. We faithfully returned post-pandemic wearing our masks and stayed after brand change. Nearly every date night was a Majestic night all those years.

We stayed after food prices went up and food quantity went down. We went less, but we still went.

But tonight we learned that they have done away with bottomless beverages and popcorn. And there is no offer of a to-go container if you don't finish.

So we will be taking our business back to Harkins. It's just not the same value that it used to be.
