Dos Victorias Mexican Food — Restaurant in Chandler

I’m writing this as I’m still here in the restaurant still savoring my wonderful breakfast! I’m from South Texas and our style of Mexican food is Tex Mex and San Antonio TX has the BEST Tex Mex! So finding Mexican food while traveling that measure ups is pretty much non existent. But today I got lucky. Had a craving for Huevos Rancheros, one of my favorites and this place did not disappoint. The presentation of the plate was not the Tex Mex I’m accustomed too but the taste was delicious! Even the hot red sauce! And the refried beans made me feel like I was home! The staff are very friendly and even offered to prepare the plate like home. If I return I definitely can’t wait to eat...

It was our last day of vacation here before heading back to NJ. My family wanted In and Out burgers since we don’t have them back East. I had a craving for Mexican. As they were ordering their burgers, I was searching out Mexican restaurants. I found Honky Tonk Jew’s review (placed only an hour before) for the Chili Relleno and was intrigued by his 10000 stars. GO HERE NOW! Even if they're closed, just camp out until they open. The carnitas plate stole the show, it was fantastic!! Flavorful, juicy chunks, and pair really well with the guac that's included. A+ tortillas. And honestly everything - chicken taco with a nice helping of guac (& pico) on there by default, carne quesadilla, b&c burrito, and the magical melt in your mouth carnitas - was top notch.
