So, I’ll start off by saying this was a lesson learned!
We decided to order from this location because it’s 3.9 rating was better than the other one which was closer that had a 3.3 rating. We hadn’t even considered it before for this reason but we wanted to try something new! Haha boy, was that a mistake…
We called in to order 2 papadias, 1 Philly and 1 Buffalo for pick up. First sign of disaster was the foreign person to take our call at a call center! My wife gave my first name (above) and even spelled it out clearly, which ended up spelled as Tetee on the box.
We go to pick up the order and while waiting, I noticed most of the employees were not carrying themselves in a professional matter! Not needing to say too much but a woman came around the counter to speak to another employee about one of the other employees person and bad situations all loud and crazy! But, that’s not really unusual this day and age!
Next, they couldn’t figure out who could ring me up! It took three people arguing to figure it out! Finally, they grabbed the order and said here are your papadias one Philly and one Buffalo, which the box slips confirmed!
Well, we got home and both of them were Philly papadias! For one, I should have checked it before leaving, that’s my fault. The fact that one was labeled Buffalo and clearly wasn’t! We also asked for the parmesan crust which both were regular crust and even burnt!
Now, this was our first time ordering from this place and it will likely be the last! It’s sad how bad the fast food industry has become! I worked in the industry back in the 90’s and even worked at a Papa John’s! And I can say, we went weeks without screwing up any orders! Heck everyone makes mistakes! We also got paid a lot less back then!
Just an FYI. When the rating is this bad, refuse the temptation haha. I definitely should have! I mean, just from this visit alone, they should have a two or lower rating lol. I hope they hire some employees that know what they’re doing and see value in...
Read moreLet me start by saying I have loved Papa John's since they opened their first store in my hometown and have been loyal to them for over 25 yrs. But so many things went wrong with my delivered pizza tonight, I just had to share. This store has issues. First, I ordered the pizza well done, nada. Second, I asked for it not to be cut, but they cut it anyway. Third, I ordered half my pizza with pineapple and mushrooms. They just threw the pinepple in a clump on what was one slice, and I couldn't find any mushrooms at all. Fourth, it got to be 15 mins past delivery time, and the papa tracker showed the pizza was still at the store. Since I had requested contactless delivery, I called the store, who told me they were running behind and it was out for delivery. I went to turn on the front porch light and see a pizza sitting there. Cold. Lastly, I called the store back to talk to the manager and explain the issues. I was not looking for another pizza, but by the time I finished listening to the following, I got one! He had to be the rudest store manager I've dealt with in a long time. Not only did he explain that they were very busy and doing the best they could, but he also told me I should not have ordered so many toppings, and that was why the pizza was wrong. REALLY?? He also told me that pizza WAS cooked well because he had done it himself, but when our conversation first started, he had no clue who I was or what my order was. Then he put me on hold without any warning, I held on for over 5 minutes because, what was I going to do, eat a cold, badly made pizza? He finally comes back and says, "Your new pizza is being made. Is there anything else you want?" WOW! Just take a look at the pics of the 2 TOTALLY different looking pizzas. Dominoes, or possibly Jet's, just gained a...
Read moreOrdered from the Chandler location from the app approximately one week ago. For over one hour my order kept saying, 'being prepared." After an hour and fifteen minutes, I called and talked to a manager named, "Alex" who was amazing. She apologized profusely and explained that they just had a company order a very large order abs mmt pizza unfortunately sat there. She offered to provide me a free pizza and dessert next time.
Fast forward to tonight. Decided to take advantage of my free order. When I explained to the girl I was talking to (who could absolutely care less about mmt order) she ended up hanging up on me twice. When I asked her what happened she said the, "phone froze." When she completed my order I told her I wanted to add one of their sandwiches ($6) and their cheese sticks ($10). She then told me that my total was $32. I said you obviously have the wrong order because those things add up to $16 and my pizza and dessert are free. I asked her how she arriving at $32? She said, "I don't know. That's just what it says." I reiterated to her my free food and asked her I'd agree thought that sounded right. She said, "Yea. That's what it says on the screen."
I asked to talk to the manager (Taylor) and of course he found the issue in a matter of seconds but also seemed very unconcerned about my issues with the burnout I had been talking to and how she never apologized once for disconnecting me twice and her completely lazy attitude. I told him to keep his free food and that I would be going to Domino's and hung up.
Unless you're dealing with a female manager named, "Alex" I would...
