The Trophy Bar — Restaurant in Chandler

Felt unwelcomed, Ice Cold Hostess, Don't bring your family during the Day (or night). If you're older, lonely and single and don't mind $15 burgers, it'd be a good spot. We were excited about coming here until that was quickly vanquished by the hostess' cold greeting where her first words were "we don't have kids menus" and generally uninviting attitude. First Impression FAIL. My Wife and Twins came here yesterday around lunch during Sunday Football. We have no problem ordering from an adult menu and just wanted to try something new while watching a little football - like a Zipps or Ginger Monkey with slightly better food. They do have a good setup with the TVs. It would be generous to say that the place was a third occupied and we should've been welcomed as needed business. We promptly asked to sit outside since it was a nice sunny day and we also were made to feel uncomfortable because we had two children with us. Middle of the day and there was only one other table dining in the outdoor space and we just wanted a quick bite after being in the area while an open market was taking place next door. You had the Regulars perched around the bar and there were lots of open seats. The food was uplifted bar fare and our server was pleasant. The Manager came by to check on us as well. Definitely not worth the hype. The food is sub par. You can get their menu anywhere better executed for less. I got a spicy margarita either the bartender doesn't know how to make or was too busy. I got a half cesar still like 7 dollars that was tiny and not very good. I took a few bites of my husband 16 burger and honestly in and out is much better. They charge for boujie but are sub par. The fries were decent in a tiny serving alongside the burger. It was our first time there with a guest from out of town and we will never be back. I give them less than a year there if they don't bring their standards up. People in chandler will pay for GOOD FOOD. When the quality starts to slip, you will lose business and eventually close down just like double dutchh did. Not being rude being honest. If it was my business I'd want to know what to fix. We were told what our buffet items would be & when we arrived, half of it was completely changed & not for the better. Also, evey single question we asked our server she didn't know the answer to it. As a result....the five people at our table didn't eat because of the disappointing menu change. Three of us had a drink, just one. We left & ate at a different establishment.

An update on the response......talked to several other people from the group & found out that there are MANY other people that were very unhappy with this establishment. We are on a restricted diet & to have pretty much the entire buffet items changed at the last minute is not cool. Sorry I had to leave a one star review. Many of us...
