TL;DR: Not great options for food restrictions or allergies.
So sometimes the Living Room is awesome. Avoid it on holidays. We went for Mother's Dayx and got there early with a reservation. Not a ton of people yet. My daughter has a severe egg/dairy allergy and sometimes eats off my plate, so I order what she can have. NOTHING was egg free. I ordered the traditional breakfast: bacon, toast, hash browns, and substitute the eggs for sausage. We waited were at the restaurant for over an hour before food came. When it came I had a $13 plate of 3 slices of bacon and a cold piece of dry toast.
Awesome. No dairy on the toast, which I'mglad the kitchen takes seriously....but no jam. And no hash browns, and no sausage. Apparently the hash browns had dairy, but no one told me in the half hour plus we waited after ordering. So I ended up getting 2 links of sausage and a little avocado for my toast, but it was still a cold piece of bread.
We have gone to brunch before, for Easter. Equally long wait.
It's not any sort of friendly for dietary restrictions or allergies. Especially not vegans. There's not even avocado toast for millenials. Come ON. (I'm a millenial, I love avocado toast, no hate.)
On the other hand, my husband's chilaquiles were amazing, so he says.
Lovely location, lovely atmosphere. Mediocre service. Mediocre food. Terrible at...
Read moreGot to the restaurant and after 23 minutes of being sat down we finally had to ask to get a menu and some water. Sushi was terrible and served dry, minced and nothing fresh, no fresh food in any of the sushi. Sushi had no dressing, no garnish, no chopsticks, no utensils. One of the flatbreads was very soggy. The spinach and artichoke dip, had basically no artichoke. I pointed out to a server that the Sushi was dry (they said "yeah we just have it brought in pre-made now),and I asked for chopsticks and utensils. I also pointed out that the spinach and artichoke did was different and used to have artichoke in it, to which the server said "yeah we have changed some recipes". My fiancé and I used to love coming here. At no point did anyone offer to rectify anything and the servers had a terrible blaze, nonchalant, lackadaisical attitude towards everything. After being a regular here for the last 3 years I can say with a degree of certainty that I will...
Read morePretty decent place for a drink and some appetizers- a place to lounge with friends and catch up. The atmosphere is comfy but upper scale. The menu features lots of wines and share-able meals. The HH pricing is nothing spectacular and their HH hours are 11-6 so it makes it a little tricky to come here unless you leave work really early or decide to start drinking at lunch time (clearly frowned upon at my job). The best thing I have had there is their caprese salad because it is traditional, simple and filled with top notch ingredients. I'm not a big fan of their pinwheel sandwiches but their mini fondue is fun to eat (they literally use a candle to heat up their small portion of cheese). Not a bad place to meet up for a...
