I finally had a chance to try Wade's Place in Chandler. I was on my way to drop off a rescue dog with its new owner and that’s when I passed up Wade’s and realized I’ve never ate there before.

We dropped the puppy off and made our way back to the restaurant. It was myself, my oldest, one of my twins (his name is actually Wade), and their friend.

Wade and myself got the lunch special (crawfish étouffée over two crispy catfish filets, on a bed of rice, served with corn on the cob). My oldest got the 8 piece shrimp dinner and their friend got the shrimp poboy.

Maybe 10 minutes went by and they started to bring our food out. We were all very pleased with everything.

The catfish was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. The crawfish étouffée had such a good flavor, especially over the perfectly cooked rice. The older boys loved their shrimp as well. The corn had quite the kick to it, but we still ate it, seeing as it had a good flavor. The fries were excellent by the way.

They all split that 1 piece of cake for some reason lol. They said the flavor was on point, but they felt like it wasn’t that moist. Either way, they left no crumbs behind.

I’m looking forward to trying some of the other options on their menu in the near future. It’s only a short...

Visited "Wade's Place," to get Fish for family members. The Eatery itself is like a Work of Art! I really Enjoyed the Atmosphere & Very Friendly Counter Help. I had a Order to go, so I Paid for some Pinto Beans, to carry out for the Lunch Plates. If you eat inside the Amazing and lnterestingly Decorated Eatery or Even choose to eat outside under a covered Pavallion w/Many Picnic Tables/Card Tables , the Beans are Free. The Only Holdout was the Fact that I am Disabled and Did get to Park in The 1st Parking Spot labeled Properly for Handicapped Persons. Problem was there was no Ramp that I was aware of to Walk up on to enter Wade's Place. I instead did walk up Stairs with Railing, but Wondered if I had not been able to enter thru Stairs ,which were approx 8 to 10 stairs. Still I Truly Have Feeling that the Counter Help would have accommodated me by Delivering my Order to my car. Sincere Thanks to all Those who Make Wade's Place a...

Small community restaurant with great choices, comfort food and very reasonable prices. We visited while in town with family at about 730pm on a Saturday night. Plenty of room for both small and large groups of people. If you don't want to dine inside, they also have a patio dining area that even in inclement or cold weather has the ability to lower privacy curtains so the patio can still be used. Family had catfish and shrimp dinners while I had the bacon cheese burger plate. Good food and ample quantities of food. Everyone was stuffed before leaving. All customers can have free bowls of pinto beans with the meal. Attached to the restaurant is a gift shop with various items. I wished that I had taken pics but unfortunately I didn't. The only thing that I didn't expect was the train that runs right up behind the establishment but don't let that discourage visiting here. No doubt that we will be...

Wade’s is a very popular restaurant for good reason. The service is friendly and the food is solid. Expect a heavy emphasis on fried fare, such as shrimp, catfish, crawfish, etc. I’ve been several times before, but this time went a different route and had the ribeye po-boy. Two thumbs up to this sandwich, with delicious, thick-sliced ribeye, sautéed onions, and cheese. It was very, very tasty and my new favorite. I am not a fan of the seasoned fries, but my family disagrees, so take my opinion there for what it’s worth. Definitely worth stopping in any time you find yourself in Chandler!

The food and service were great but I found out that the servers do NOT GET TO KEEP THE TIPS left for them and I will never spend another dollar at this business. The young employees working there are constantly on the move and busting it. I can't believe someone would be selfish enough to take their tips. If you're going to steal their tips, at least be big enough to make it public knowledge on the tip jar conveniently located beside the cash register. I'll even print you a sign, "All tips go to pad the owners bottom line instead of the employees you think you're giving the money to!"
