Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

I have never been to a fast food place that has more consistently forgot to run my order. Only for them to "apologize" by bringing out a crumpled, year+ expired coupon for the trouble of waiting 20+ minutes and having to hit the button again to remind them you're waiting. Then still being brought half-melted ice cream or cold food.

Another thing you can almost bet on at this location is the wrong orders. I was confident that mobile ordering would alleviate some of this headache. Nope. At least not at this location.

My last two visits have included these ridiculous mistakes. Tonight (6/17/2019) - I ordered the Hawaiian Burger that is "featured." I got home to find that they had sent the chicken sandwich.

Last month (5/27/2019) - I ordered myself and my wife the "featured" milkshake at the time. One Yellow Cake Batter shake and one Oreo Yellow Cake Batter. The only difference is the addition of Oreos. The one without came out fine. The other that was sent out was a plain cheesecake shake.

These are just two of many, many instances that similar things have happened. Both of these were mobile orders where I could look back to verify it wasn't my mistake in ordering.

The only reason I ever even consider giving this place my business is simply lack of options...

I visited this location this evening, went through the drive thru and ordered a regular and jr frito chili cheese burrito. I get my order and realize I was given two jr burritos. I informed the person who handed me my food and she took one of them back to replace it with the regular.

Meanwhile, I go to take a bite of the other jr burrito and quickly realize there is no chili in the burrito - only a few fritos. When the lady comes back with the regular burrito, I informed her of this second mistake and she takes that burrito back.

Several minutes later she brings back what she said was a corrected burrito and because I had been there so long and was in a hurry, I trusted it was corrected. A few miles down the road I realize ONCE AGAIN, no chili. This was incredibly frustrating and not only will I NOT be back, I will be reaching out...

This place isn't worth the one star! Very very disappointed with their service. Took them 4 different times to bring me MY correct order. Sad sad when you can't take my order correctly! #1with fries and lg sweet tea. #14 with tots and reg coke... They brought #14 with fries but NOT #1. Then they take #14 back and came back with the same #14 three different times. Even tho we order #1 Three different times so the fourth time the finally got our order some what right except we got 2 fries didn't get the tots we order.. Now #1 is hot and #14 is cold. Wth is wrong with this place?? SMH next time I will just starve to death before I ever go there again. either management needs to get their act together and hire some people in there that can understand English or I'm just going to start posting on Facebook to boycott the Sonic in Chapel Hill,...
