Unfortunately, this is by far, the worst experience I've ever had at any Wendy's location. I visited at approximately 12:10pm on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
I'll start off by saying that my fiance has celiac disease, and we've always liked going to Wendy's because they have been happy to make the order without a bun, we've never had any issues with cross-contamination (bread coming in contact with her food), and the kids' toys are awesome.
When I ordered, I asked for two #2 combos with just meat, cheese, and lettuce. That way she can wrap the lettuce around the burger and the condiments don't make a big mess when she eats it. We got regular burgers - bread and all. My fiance noticed this right away because they were wrapped in the wrappers and not the customary plastic containers for when there's no bread. She verified it, and I told the people in the window that I had ordered with no bread. The girl in the window told me I said no lettuce, to which I responded, "No, I didn't, and if I did, these both have lettuce on them anyway." And then I explained to them that my fiance is allergic to wheat, so she can't have any bread. I was polite and apologetic because I don't like to send food back; however, in the case of bread for my lady, I have no choice... When they were working on it, my fiance expressed concern that they may just try to take the bread off, to which I voiced my doubts. I told her that I said she has an allergy, so I'd expect them to take that seriously. When they returned the food, I told her to take a look at it if she wasn't comfortable. She did, and she discovered that THEY VERY CLEARLY HAD SIMPLY REMOVED THE BUN! (see photos) I was already driving on when we saw this, so I immediately turned into the parking lot, took both of the burgers, and said I was going inside to speak with the manager. She told me it doesn't matter because now she doesn't feel comfortable eating ANYTHING from that place, which I think is completely understandable.
I went inside and asked for the manager. She was appropriately apologetic, and I was appropriately livid. While I wasn't yelling and screaming, I was legitimately ready to fight someone. I told her that it's completely unacceptable for this kind of conduct to happen. In the food service industry, when someone says they have an allergy, you HAVE to respect that. This could do lasting, permanent damage to my fiance, and in a severe case, it could kill her. That's why I was physically and emotionally ready to fight. Look, if you get the order wrong, it's whatever. 9/10 times, I'll just deal with it and not say a word, but as I said, this was a mandatory redo. Even still, I was polite and wouldn't have left a poor review for this location.
Unfortunately, these kids couldn't be bothered to do the right thing. Unfortunately, they didn't take the warnings and legitimate health concerns seriously. So now I hope they have real consequences, as I'm considering speaking with the franchise owners regarding this issue. Maybe the food service industry isn't right for them if they can't recognize the danger of the...
Read moreThis is the crapiest fast food resturant I have ever ate at. Front counter staff didnt do hardly anything but play the whole time we were there, my order was wrong twice (I mean how do you get an order wrong 2 times in a row even after it was explained after the first time) , and on top of it being wrong the burger wasnt even done ( how do you cook a beef patty that thin and not get it done), none of the tables were clean, floor was nasty, ice machine was broken, lid dispencer was broken, when I asked for some ice from the back the server caught an attitude and asked if the 1/8 of a medium cup of ice wasnt enough. Then to top that off one of them was playing with her hair over the top of the napkin and ketchup dispencer using the glass over it as a mirror. I would choose the mcdonalds here in my home town that has roaches crawling on the counter before i even think of eating here again. At least their customer service is good. To the managment of this store your welcome for the donation I gave you today. The 2 bites of the cheeseburger I ate before it ended up in the trash sure as hell wasnt worth the money I paid. Thats 30 crapy minutes of my life gone with absolutely nothing to be satisfied about. Dont waste...
Read moreI go this Wendy's often and have an ok experience but this time was the worst! If there was a negative option this Wendy's would get it -100%. We usually get the crispy chickens and a few ranch and honey mustard. This time when we asked for our usual order Tamika at the drive through (3/27/2017 around 9:30pm) was the rudest person EVER. She cut our ordering short, didn't ask us if we wanted anything else to order and snapped at us with an attitude. Getting to the window Tamika refused to give us any extra honey mustard (not sure if this was a new rule for Wendy's but her attitude was the worst) and on top of that she was complaining about working and other problems. Working in service myself this is something you should never do in front of customers. You are there to give a happy and positive experience to your customers to keep good business. This Wendy's is poorly ran and if employees don't like working there then find another job or fake being happy so customers have a...
