Bojangles — Restaurant in Charleston

Check the freshness of your food before leaving or eating. Chicken supremes meal was room temp/cold, and I got mismatched supremes and homestyle strips together. It was suppose to be all supremes, not half and half. And definitely not cold!

This was all I had to eat the entire day and was at evening time. After eating, I started to feel pain in my stomach. Some hours later I couldn’t leave the bathroom because of the diarrhea which lasted for about an hour, accompanied with nausea for several hours which I took medicine to help subside. It has now been 12 hours since eating and I’m still experiencing pain and discomfort. I never get sick, and never have pain or discomfort. Yesterday evening I had a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A and felt fine. So i do not believe that has anything to do with what’s going on today. I’m really convinced that this meal today from Bojangles is the only thing that could have caused what I’m experiencing right now. I’ve ordered a biscuit there two different mornings last week and both times the biscuit was drenched in I guess butter. The bottom half was yellow, literally looked soaked like the bread was a sponge. It was difficult to eat so I sat most of it aside. Oh, and I went to their drive thru last Sunday 2 hours before google says their close time is... the lights were still on, and so I sat there for 5-10 minutes, then I pulled up to the window for another 5 minutes, didn’t see anyone in there, and I left. If Sunday hours are different than what google lists please update it.

I will add that I am a HUGE Bojangles fan. I eat there 5 times a week, and have been eating at their restaurants for the last 15 years. I will not continue eating from this one. Last night I called this location and asked if I could get a 20 pack and was told no they did not have that much chicken left. It was 8:00pm and the location closes at 10:00. I then asked how much chicken I could get ant the employee hung up on me. This angered me so I continued to go to the location. Asked to speak to the manager and she informed me that they had been very busy and they had no chicken marinated to complete my order. I will say I was aggravated by her lack of ownership of her employee hanging up on me and the way I was being treated. At this point I will admit I let my level of displeasure be known. She stated she did not have to deal with me because she had had a rough night. I told her I thought she could have been a little more contrite and then she actually mimic me in a very condescending manor in a whiny voice in front of her staff. She then said she was refusing me service because of my attitude. This was the worse experience I have ever had at a BoJangles. I left this location and went to the Mt. Pleasant location who treated me like a customer should be treated completed my order and sent me on my way a very happy customer. Avoid the Clements Ferry Rd. location...

There has not been a time where either my boyfriend, my daughter or me has actually gotten what we ordered. Customer service at this location is awful. My daughter just called me upset going thru the line because she had to repeat herself many times, when she got up to the window “the manager” told her the price and instantly my daughter said this is not what you told me when I placed the order it should be more, are you sure everything is there. The lady repeated the order she said that is correct but when she received the food the sides were wrong! I called down there to yes complain and tell the girl that every time we’ve ordered they have yet to give us the correct food. She was extremely and hung up on me. I called back she asked me why my daughter didn’t come inside. I told her because by that point she was fed up and it doesn’t make sense why you can’t ever get it right. So she hung up on me again.
