Let me begin by giving you some insight a out me - I love sauce. Any food I eat, I often need copious amounts of sauce to go with it. After a 12 hour travel day, I was starving and ordered sweet and sour chicken and cream cheese rangoons from Tokyo Express, and naturally, I asked for a couple extra cups of sweet and sour sauce. After placing my order on doordash, Tokyo Express immediately called to confirm how many sauces I wanted. I said "maybe three more?", they confirmed and I thanked them for checking in.
Why do I tell you this? Are a few condiment cups of sweet and sour not a normal thing to ask for? Why is this worthy of a review? I'll tell you why, reader. Because Tokyo Express went above and beyond.
Imagine my surprise when my order came and (5) 12oz containers of sweet and sour sauce came with my order. Note that while I love sauce, 60oz of sauce to my one order of chicken and rangoons was too much for even me. And yet I appreciate Tokyo Express, who no doubt wondered what psychotic person would require that much sweet and sour, still stood ready to serve and accommodate. Did they charge me a bit extra? Understandably yes. But that charge was incredibly low, and I find it important to note that the sweet and sour sauce was delightful, as was the rest of my food.

Read moreI had the chicken fried rice and honey chicken lunch special with a pork egg roll. I expected honey chicken wings and not general tso style chicken, but it was good. I’m giving them three stars because of the cashiers attitude. I mean sure enough you may have been having a bad day but that sucky attitude runs off on others and ruins their day. Apparently, she was calling me because my order was ready but her kids were LOUD and couldn’t hear her until I happened to look up at her and she had the nastiest look on her face. I have kids too so I’m giving her grace however she could’ve walked from around the counter and handed me my order if it was that serious. The belligerent attitude was unnecessary. Fix...
Read moreI usually don't post about bad food experiences but this one almost hurt my 2 year old son, so I'll show no remorse. This piece of hard plastic was found in either the house special fried rice, shrimp with garlic sauce, or kung pao chicken. I drove back and gave them the piece of plastic in a napkin and explained that this almost harmed my child and they need to be careful. The only response was that "I'm sorry" - I only ask for them to please be more careful in the future when serving food to people, small mistakes like this can cause serious harm that could be fatal to a child. Added a pack of hot sauce in the pic to reference the size...
