2025 Review: Beer is still cold, service is still great but the food has slightly changed. The pizza - good for sharing, flavors are a tad sweet for my taste still. They no longer have a meat lovers, but the cheese pizza was still good for sharing. The wings - same price but they have scaled down. Now instead of getting a full wing, you get traditional wings. Not a bad thing, but you get 75% of the total wings for the same price. I get it - costs have gone up. I wont dock a star for that as that has hit every kind of restaurant. 2024 Review: Cold and tasty beer options. Some unique flavors that are worth a try just to day you have had them. Food: Wings - yes... get them. Both BBQ sauces are tasty! A whole order is 8 "wings". Each wing is a wing and drum, so it is actually 16 wings in a full order. You can pick two sauces with a full order, and they come loaded with sauce. Highly recommended these! 5/5 Pizza: made fresh and cooked in a fire pizza oven. The meat lovers was decent, but has room for improvement. I would try something else next time I am here. 3.5/5.

Had a great time at Edmund’s Oast Brewing in Charleston, SC. We’ve had their beers in many different places and we’re so excited to go to their flagship brewery. There was about a 30 minute wait so they had a stand outside that served three of their beers. The only thing I didn’t like is that you had to wait for a table to have all the beers on tap from the inside. I’m not sure if they’re trying to get you to order food, but that was the only thing that was frustrating. We had a few flights with different sour beers and our server was knowledgeable about all the different beers. I also ordered a strawberry froze- it was awful. It was the worst one I’ve ever probably had. They took it back and I ordered a beer. I love all of their beers and will definitely go back.

Now if this was my wife or daughter reviewing then it would most likely be 5 stars. They like all what I consider to be weird flavors in beer they have on tap (see pics for a sample). Unfortunately for me they had little I like I tap. They did have 1 red, 4 or 5 IPAs, 1 stout (also flavored) and 1 pilsner brew. So for me the only one I liked was the pilsner. They did have 1 seltzer that I liked, which was a watermelon/lime combination. They did have a pretty new and very nice facility with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating. All their beers we're very reasonably priced for a microbrewery. My last very minor ding was the prices on their food. Their food prices were about 10-20 percent higher than what I've paid for comparable menu items I this area.

Edit 5/3/24. I havent been in about 6 months. Hefeweizen is back and just as excellent as always. Whats missing is the in house pickles. They've changed and now are not as spicy. Miss the onioms and garlic. The cuban sandwich has been my favorite but thats gone too. Edit 8/16/22 Hefeweizen and October fest on tap and in cans. Both delicious! Had a fantastic Italian sub with a side of garlic pickles. Left with a case of beer! I am never disappointed when I come to visit. Food is excellent and the beer is to die for. Pales in Comparison is my favorite, they change the hops on a rotation. Each trip I have managed to get a new variation. The Cashmere hop has been my all time favorite.

Heads Up!!!!! Power Hour is from 4pm-5pm daily, 1/2 Off Food and Drink, which is a great deal. However, they will not warn you it is coming up, so pay attention to the time. We sat down 5 minutes before Power Hour and ordered immediately. Only after ordering and getting our food we’re we informed of the promotion. We were disappointed, it would have saved us $25, if our server would have mentioned it sooner rather than later. Beer and drinks were enjoyable. Parking was easy and the AC worked fantastic. Overall, enjoyable. Service is a little chaotic as everyone is your server - communication gets lost. Order toasted bread with the pimento cheese instead of the crackers - you’ll thank me!

Live in Florida and love the beer selections. Decided to make a trip to visit. Was a bit awkward as we had to wander around the bar / picnic area to get someone to acknowledge us. Seems to be more of a self service place w/ QR code menu, but you still need to talk to someone for a beer (which is what we came for) Finally got the attention of a host, server person. It was not busy at all btw......Wanted to sample other beers, but didn't really know how to go about the place. Food was pretty good. Place could be amazing with a little effort of staff. I guess we were expecting a bit more as we made our decision to visit Charleston specifically for Edmund's Oast.
