Normally I like this bar - its a great atmosphere, but we were very disappointed with their oyster roast event. They advertise all you can eat oysters for 4 hours, but it is a rip off. There is one person cooking oysters on a VERY small steamer. We had a group of 8 people - we all paid $15 per head for "all you can eat" oysters. We were there for over 4 hours, and received 2.5 buckets the entire time we were there. Each person paid $15 and literally got to eat 5-10 oysters. $150 for 2.5 buckets of oysters is outrageous. We asked multiple times for more, waited in line for several times, only for there to never be any available. They should not be charging per head and advertising all you can eat, for such a small production. There was also no extra buckets for shells, no cocktail or hot sauce, no crackers, and no napkins available....

Now I cannot say the same about the staff behind the bar. I found them to be very rude and condescending. I found a bug in my drink and when I brought it up to the bartender Matt , he was very very rude! It's a shame, this is a nice establishment. I've seen several of my favorite establishments go out of business example Taco Boy on Folly Beach, and it's not that they had a bad business model, they all failed for the same reason, " employees treating the business as their own personal fiefdom. satisfaction and...
