This is my go-to place for dinner and drinks in town. The atmosphere evokes a feeling of being in an old Speakeasy. The staff is super friendly and attentive. There are a decent variety of beers on tap and the cocktails are great. Food is solid and you get a good value for your money. The Burger and the wings are good. The Reuben is excellent. Try the walleye for something a bit different.

Good food for a very reasonable price. I liked the ambience. Had slightly dim lighting but not too dark to see in. Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and so were the cheese curds. Would highly recommend trying out!

Chicken fried steak is on point as always, all bloody Mary's are made from scratch, bartenders are very knowledgable and Burnie is a beautiful sweetheart

Firstly, I'm reinforcing how they made everything right. Extra Kudos to MikeY!!! He's fabulous and sincerely understands true customer service.

Last night was our first visit. Hubby got an Ultra; I ordered their Ultimate Bloody Mary. It was wonderful; I had 2.

We ordered onion rings as an Appetizer. 1/4 of them were cooked properly; the other 3/4 were extremely over cooked to burnt. After sharing with our Waiter we were provided with a new, perfect batch.

For our meals we both ordered Ribeyes. Hubby ordered Medium Well; it arrived somewhere between Rare and Medium. I'd ordered Medium; mine was Rare. Also, mine wasn't a very good cut; it was quite tough...

Hubby's was cooked further to the proper doneness. I received a new steak that was perfect and rivaled those received from "The Ribeye" in Champaign.

Our sides were regular baked potato for hubby and loaded for me. His was fine; mine was great.

Other sides were hubby-applesauce; me-cole slaw. The cole slaw was very good. My one suggestion here is to increase the portion sizes of these. They were in small, plastic ramekins.

Had things not been corrected, we would not have returned and rated them a 2 (for the items that were good, and the atmosphere is neat). Since all was taken care of, we're rating them a 4.

We're looking forward to our next visit (which will be 5pm or after if we want steaks again-when night cook begins.) We're confident we'll be rating that visit a 5 as well as many...

I happened to try this location for the first time when the special was blackened chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and it was delicious. I ordered it to go, and even after taking maybe 45 mins to get home and be ready to eat finally, the chicken still wasn't dry and the noodles hadn't formed together.

While picking up the order, I noticed the owner talk to some people. The owner interrupted his own conversation to help the staff treat me quickly whilst he went and got the order from the kitchen.

The inside was clean and inviting (if not a little dark, but that's typical for a bar and grill I've seen). I didn't see a table that looked like it hadn't been attended even down to having all the chairs pushed in (which I've found shockingly rare in some places lately).

Loved the food and cleanliness, and next time I plan to invite friends to eat in so that I can enjoy a bountiful salad bar that I've heard about. Thank you for the great dinner, and what you provide...

The people, scotch, craft beer and food. Do I really need go on, or are you just going to go? Sit at the bar if possible. This place is a hidden gem. The building has a really amazing prohibition era story. Mike the owner and his daughter Kylie are good people. Their scotch and beer selection are first and foremost unparalleled. You would have to go to a bar that specialises in scotch or craft beer to find something similar. One can tell they are not selected buy a beer/liquor reps but by people who like drinking craft beer and scotch. Come here a couple times and you will see how much they care about customers. The food is always good. Made by people who care. They aim to please and in my experience they have always hit the mark. Lastly, come when Mikey's working not the owner. Seriously, he's worth the trip. Damn...
