WB's — Restaurant in Charleston

We went to play pool as a family (it's kinda the only place around Charleston that you can go as a family to play pool besides Lefty's with kids under the age of 18) around 4pm one day. There wasn't a lot of people or anyting in the restaurant, but there was a few people as there was a football game going on (so as you can guess the majority of people were in the bar area anyhow and the pool table is not). The bartender was new and young so she was still learning, but she was absolutely marvelous and super respectful (made outstanding drinks)!! She stated that we could play pool no problem....and as we started to unwrap the table, another worker there decided to (kinda rudely at that) inform us that the bartender was incorrect and that no one was able to play pool (due to it being literally dead center in the actual restaurant part) until after 9 because of their dinner rush...and then our child was to the max upsetty spaghetti as she called it bc she couldn't play pool with her family :( mainly due to age! I never give bad reviews because I appreciate how difficult it is to have a successful restaurant business in this town. However, I feel compelled to let people know about my experiences at this one About a year and a half ago, my husband got food poisoning from their sweet butter, he thought it tasted off but he ate it anyway (mistake)-He was horribly sick for days. About a year later I decided I to give it another chance since they are one of the only family style restaurants in Charleston, My son and I sat for more than 40 mins and were completely ignored ,while other regular patrons were greeted and served, we finally gave up and left. Today, I regretfully decided to give it another try because the party I was with wanted to go there. I ordered the beef and noodles special- It looked and tasted disgusting after trying to swallow a few bites I knew I could not eat it and had a terrible taste in my mouth so I sent it back and ordered something else, Now Ive been throwing up all evening. I will never eat...

A few months ago we went into WB’s and my wife overheard two young servers talking about how they didn’t want to serve us and that they didn’t like us. Overall, just very rude so we left before ordering. We didn’t return for months. We ended returning to be served by our regular Wednesday server and explained the experience we previously had. She corrected the issue for us. We returned today and my wife AGAIN overheard the SAME server telling a different server to take us cuz she can’t stand us and that she’ll give the other server the next table as well if she takes us. We left again before ordering. We called to speak to the owner and he was rude and laughed at us. Also ended the conversation by saying “are you calling because you need a job” which is not only incredibly rude but completely out of context for the issue at hand.
