Scoop Du Jour — Restaurant in Chatham

I went to scoop Dijour for the first time about two weeks ago and it sure was a treat. They have ice cream flavors that I have not seen anywhere else and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I live two hours away, but my dear friend lives out that way, so every time I go visit her, I’m going to make sure that I Stop at this place not only is the ice cream and the Donuts are absolutely delicious, They also serve amazing beverages like coffee drinks, etc. The place itself is very colorful and cheerful and welcoming, and I had a pleasure of meeting the two owners and they are some of the friendliest nicest people I ever met. Fran and Shannon you guys rock, I would love to see you turn into a franchise where you have stores In other towns as well. I also see how they’re very big and helping the community. I wish I could negative star this experience. I am a Chatham resident have been for 15+ years and never in that time have i experienced the horrible service I did this morning from Helen who wouldn’t tell me her name until I asked for a manger when I asked for one I was screamed at. I was asked if something was wrong with me. I’m a 57 year old woman have managed stores and I would never in my life hire anyone working here who treats people this way, trying to give them business. Scoop du Jour in Chatham is a wonderful place to get great ice cream, tasty donuts, and a good cup of coffee. But best of all are the great employees. Like Edgar's, their predecessor, the young ladies and gentlemen who work at Scooper's are very welcoming and friendly. They are always courteous and occasionally entertaining. Scooper's is not a fancy restaurant, but a nice casual place where eventually you get to know all of the baristas, the two lovely owners, Shannon and Fran, and most of the "regulars."
