Great Wall — Restaurant in Chatham

This family owned and operated business is my absolute favorite in Chatham. When you come in you may see a mom helping her kids with their homework, or making up huge batches of dumplings all by hand. It’s just such a clean positive environment with a friendly wonderful family running the place. I have been going once or twice a week for about a year now and honestly the only time I have ever been disappointed was a time when I ordered a few dishes that should have been spicy and they had completely downplayed the spice. But if you have ever been in there to see a chathamite Karen go off about her food you would understand that. Had to ask for plates and utensils and do believe you could get better at panda express. Panda Express is not the top of the line Chinese food. How do you have Chinese food and have never heard of wor wonton soup.

Staff was friendly... and thats about it. I ordered fried rice, and got yellow rice. Now last i checked, fried rice was brown from being cooked, not yellow from being thrown out of a box. Orange chicken tasted more like barbecue chicken, Mongolian beef was probably the worst ive ever had. Beef lo mein tasted like someone threw it in a smoker. Only good thing was the sweet and sour chicken. Will not go back there. Not good...
