Sierra's — Restaurant in Chatsworth

I will never be back again after tonight's experience. I've never had such poor service and disrespect from MARIA M. as it says on my ticket let me explain. We get seated and then 3 more are seated little after us about a 10 min gap get got drinks and then she took orders of the 3 tables behind us but not ours they got there appetizers before we still got a chance to order we didn't get to order till after 1 table already got there food our steak chicken shrimp dip was cold so that was disappointing. We saw our server 3 times during the entire experience I was having a convo about how poor the service was in a low tone and then when she finally brought the bill she hilighted no tip included I assume she heard our convo about pour service and her sparky attitude. Then I go to pay my husband asked for to go cokes she proceeded to toss them at him and run to the cashier station as I was headed that way my bill was 48.90 I think and I was paying with a 50 at that point I decided she deserved nothing and I've never done that in my life actually I tip very well when service is good and I assumed based on my appearance she judged us right off the bat we are a odd looking couple so we get it often anywho she proceeded to get an attitude and in a sparky tone says " you know tip not included" I replied yep I know she stormed off and handed my bill and money to a little girl clearly she was mad but she only needed to be mad at herself she was rude and disrespectful and unprofessional I've never had a issue before and this sealed the deal that I will not be returning every again it's a shame really but it is what it is. My family ate there tonight and I have to say it was the worst experience ever!! Everything started out okay. They brought over a small bowl of chips with 4 bowls of salsa for each of us. We had to ask for extra chips however because there was not enough for each of us. When ordering our server did not write down anything we said and thus our order was completely wrong! Our server was short and almost seemed annoyed to be waiting on us. Nonetheless we moved past it... until our food came. Like I said it was all wrong. We had to send one order back and made do with the rest. We ordered 2 fajita steak dinners. We had to flag down our waitress after about 10 minutes to ask for cheese as we received none, and sour cream. We then were asked if we wanted extra or a side of each? What? What's the difference? By then the waitress was completely rude and said, "I'm just gonna send the manager over!!" The manager was extremely more helpful in letting us know we could substitute anything we wanted for something else. Our server didn't bother to let us know this even we made it very clear there were things we didn't not wish to have with our meals. Anyway... all in all the food wasn't terrible once we finally received that which we requested but it wasn't great my any means. Not for the price! As I said our server wasn't friendly at all though others were as we walked in and out. Hopefully if you go there your experience will be much better than ours. We had business in Chatsworth mid day. We were thrilled to find Sierra's for lunch! We just had no idea Chatsworth had such a great place to eat. To start, the staff was wonderful and provided excellent service. They were all dressed in black, which was very attractive. The atmosphere was well done with a fun flare. The floors, walls, tables, booths, and restrooms were clean! Thank you very much! The chips were crisp, and the sauce was very tasty. The food was hot, very generous, and came quickly. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in years. I have lived in many places from California to Florida. I had generous, delicious, chicken fajitas. I took home a whole meal in a box that I couldn't eat. My husband had a burrito, and he said it was delicious. I had a frozen mango margarita that was beautiful, tasty, and substantial. You won't believe the desserts! We had a cheesecake cake that was excellent. There was carrot cake, coconut cake, chocolate cake, and many more in a big display case as you walked in the front door.
