The Shakey Mutt is an absolute gem! From the moment you pull up and see the adorable storefront, you know you’re in for something special. The vibe is charming and welcoming, with dog-friendly outdoor seating that makes it a perfect spot to relax.

The hot dog menu is incredible, with so many creative and delicious options. The Rueben's Mutt was a hit with our group, as well as the Grilled Cheese Panini (if hot dogs aren't your thing). Whether you’re into classic flavors or bold combos, there’s something for everyone. And don’t even get me started on the milkshakes! Our kids were in raptures over the Cotton Candy Dream, Peanut Butter Boogie and Me Want Cookies. Fair warning, the Me Want Cookies will turn your tongue blue, which for our kids was a bonus!

Best of all, the service is warm and friendly every time. You can tell the owners care about both their food and their customers. This place has heart, flavor, and a whole lot of fun....

We often travel with our dog, so are always on the lookout for pet friendly places to eat. We were recently in the North Georgia mountains and visited Chatsworth and stumbled upon the Shaky Mutt. The building is a beautiful Tiffany blue and had several outdoor tables with water bowls for dogs so we gave them a try. My husband had a bratwurst on a pretzel roll with slaw and I had a panini sandwich called the Sassy Stack with loaded potato salad as a side. My husband said his bratwurst was the best he had ever eaten and he’s from a family of Germans so he’d know. My panini was delicious and the potato salad was some of the best I’ve ever had. The coleslaw was also very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions. We met the manager who graciously gifted us a Halloween themed milkshake that she was taking promotional pictures of. Oh my goodness was that delicious! We will definitely visit again when we are back...

Wow, this is a top notch establishment. The facility was clean, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, the orders were all correct, the food was delicious! We ordered the chili dog, the Korean dog, a walking dog, a chocolate milk shake and the hot fudge and brownie ice cream Sunday. Every single thing was on point. The Korean hot dog was SOOO good. The kimchi paired with the mango chutney and fresh cilantro was delightful and I must say it's nice to have a variety of options outside of traditional hot dogs. Still, the chilli hot dog was classic and worth having again. The brownie with the hot fudge Sunday was perfectly warm and melt in your mouth paired with the ice cream. I can go on.....
