Was having dinner, realized my sister and her family were leaving she stopped at our table to socialize when the waitress brought the first part of our order out, with hot plates after getting our attention my sister moved out of her way and apologized. The waitress goes on never saying she would be back. When she came back I told my sister and she moved again. Well let’s get the whole atmosphere of others in the restaurant at the beginning, there was a lady that came in after us ( that has a verbal TPO on her) she sit in an area near us instead of moving like she’d first requested when she first came in. So going back to the waitress situation when she sat the last plates down she went to the area across from us to get silverware which was next to where the lady was sitting. The lady (I’ll provide her initials GW) she immediately made a remark to the waitress. The waitress started replying making remarks about my sister and hot plates. She then came to our table to bring silverware I immediately addressed the conversation she had had with GW, I informed her my sister did not know she was there or coming back and my sister had apologized and she had no business to say anything to anyone especially that woman about us. The waitress had the nerve to deny it and I told her I seen and heard it!! Not once did the waitress come back to our table nor anyone else. I seen the waitress take the woman/‘manger to the back as they came out we were looked at and the woman/manager goes over lays something down and immediately walks over to GW. We then get a glance from her.. so after spending $60+ dollars we left I did not leave a TIP. Mercedes you lost that when you acted the way you did! FYI, the lady she chose to conversation with has a history of child abuse, she was removed from our porch for verbally attacking my sister-n-law that had just gotten out of hospital, should I go on! So the tip I give you if someone says something please learn to keep your mouth shut, wear oven mist if those plates are hot, number 2 my sister that APOLOGIZED twice to you is a cancer survivor, and has other health issues! I’ve dined there several times over the years but never, never, dealt with such immature service!! Oh my apologies because when you denied it I should have said get your manager and pull the...
Read moreWas very disappointed my last visit, I've moved away and was home for a visit. Los Amigos has always been one of my favorites. Order was wrong and two people were allowed to step in front of me at the register where I'd been waiting for a long while. I picked up my own bag off the table and handed it to the cashier, because it irritated me that the cashier had allowed that to happen, there was one man at the register when I walked in the door and I had stepped to the side to allow easy entrance inside the restaurant, then two late teens or early 20'skids just stepped in my way as I tried to get my order, so it wasn't checked for being correct, and it was late in the evening ( past 7) and I hadn't eaten all day or I would've taken the order back. I had ordered shredded chicken fajita nachos and I'm not really sure what I got. It was a large soft tortilla with shredded chicken lettuce cheese and guacamole. It was ok, but not what I ordered and certainly not what...
Read moreI recently dined at Los Amigos, expecting a vibrant Mexican dining experience, but left feeling underwhelmed. The staff, entirely composed of white Americans, was polite and attentive, but the lack of cultural diversity in a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine was noticeable and detracted from the authenticity I was hoping for.The food, unfortunately, was extremely average. Dishes like the tacos and enchiladas lacked the bold flavors and depth you’d expect from Mexican fare. The ingredients seemed fresh but uninspired, with no standout spices or unique touches to elevate the experience. The menu leaned heavily on standard offerings without much creativity. To top it off, the prices were above average for what was delivered. For a meal that felt so middle-of-the-road, the cost didn’t align with the quality or experience. There are better options out there for Mexican cuisine that offer more flavor and value. Los Amigos isn’t terrible, but it’s...
