Whoever owns this franchise might want to seriously reevaluate their operations, because this location cannot possibly be running profitably with service like this.
The area is high-traffic, which should make for a booming business but the customer service is practically nonexistent. I was helped by a woman who I assume is the manager, and her attitude set the tone immediately. I asked a simple question whether I could get the Smokehouse Chicken as a whole chicken instead of a combo and instead of a straightforward answer, I got an exasperated response: “Ma’am… so you want the $5.99 deal?” I clarified my question, but quickly realized it was a waste of time. Eventually, I just ordered the combo.
She then told me it would be a 20-minute wait. I said I didn’t mind, and somehow that annoyed her too because she went silent, as if I’d inconvenienced her by… ordering food? After an awkward pause, I had to ask if she was still there before she finally told me the total and sent me to the window.
At the window, she was at least courteous and asked me to wait in the lot. While I waited, I watched at least three cars enter and immediately exit the drive-thru, clearly not placing any orders. One car ahead of me left with nothing. Over the course of 30 minutes, I appeared to be the only customer who actually received food. Meanwhile, a young girl in cleats who looked exhausted tried to go inside, only to find the door locked and be gestured to use the drive-thru. That’s not only unwelcoming it’s dangerous. You are sitting at the table in a cellphone how hard is it to open the door especially with a little over an hour until closing time? A car sped around and nearly hit her as she tried to view the menu.
Finally, after 21 minutes, I received my order. The chicken? Still had visible feathers. I’ve never seen that in any Church’s location back home in Texas. It was as if no one even tried to pluck them before throwing it into the oven. The okra looked like it had been sitting out for hours.
Needless to say, this was a total disappointment, especially on the service side. I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreI did a online order and paid 74 something dollars For a family meal with exercise. The online order told me my food would be ready at 4:13 I got. There at four twenty five Thinking that my food would be ready.I tried to Go inside To get my food. And they told me. I had to go to the drop through. So I went through the drive through and told them. I had a online order gave them my name. And they told me that they would have to cook my food and I told them it was an online order. It said it was gonna be ready at this time. So how long do I have to wait? They told me that they was understaffed. They apologized and I said okay. So I wait for my food. I go in park and wait for my food about 10 minutes later.A lady comes up to me and told me that they don't have the white chicken or chicken tenders. They only had the dark chicken and I told her I've never had the dark chicken.I don't know how to taste. She told me.I can go back on the online app and get my money back. She would take my number I told her no I would just have to wait on the dark chicken. Then she goes in about 10 minutes.Later comes back out and tells me they don't have enough of the chicken to give me And I asked her. So what am I supposed to do? She said unless you want to wait for your chicken, which would be 10 minutes. It was almost an hour that I had to sit outside and wait for my food. And this is not the first time this is ever happened. This is the second time that I've spent that kind of money and this has happened to me.They tell you that thay are understand but yet you can clear Clearly see they have their doors locked. And they have 5 employees on the clock, no business. But yet we're understaffed, but you can pay the employees to sit down and be on our phones. Why customers are waiting on their food very Disappointed in church's chicken I really think that corporate office needs to start investigating. What's going on at...
Read moreThe receipt won't allow feedback do I'm doing it here. Came in last week and workers are screaming across the parking lot at me and other customers that the dine in area is closed and we have to use the drive thru. I knew there was gonna be a problem then. Why are you screaming at people. How do you know I want to use the drive thru? I used a coupon for $9.99 that I was given on a previous visit and was told the total would be $11 something which is probably more than Tennessee taxes I thought. When I get up to the window there's all this confusion about what I ordered. I had just ordered because I was the 2nd car in drive thru. Also the price changed to $12 something. Then I'm told it's because the coupon was wrong. Why is a coupon wrong that you just gave me less than a week ago and why aren't you honoring a coupon that is good until April. The lady then creates all this confusion between a pepper and black pepper. Horrible customer service skills. Then she offers free item which was okay but some girl comes from the bathroom or somewhere and escalates and argument saying that Mac n Cheese is $3 something alone don't give me anything.. The coupon came with 2 sides already at $9.99. So you're just gonna misadvertise then take my money. Pure craziness. Before it's all over she's threatening to kick my butt. She needs to be fired. The first lady who took my order is arguing Didn't I offer you an item to make up for it like it's my fault. I feel like they are intentionally stealing from people. A soda would've resolved the issue. When I asked her name she said I don't need her name go on and do...
