Today I got two of the Double Stuf Oreo Cones, a chili cheese coney, and some other food. The carhop gave us our food in a full bag, no room at the top, being very heavy. The Oreo Cones came in just the cone with a thin piece of paper wrapped around them. Ice cream in a waffle cone, nothing to put them in when it starts melting. So when I got home, the oreo cones were melting all over my partner, covering him in ice cream stuff. The ice cream melted and did not have anything but an ice-cream-soaked piece of paper. After getting that mess cleaned up, we were getting the heavy bag out of the car and it ripped and everything fell out, beside the car. A few things were saved, but it just goes to show how cheap a company can be, not wanting to spend 5 more cents to put half of the food in another bag to prevent something like that. I already know that they straight up tell their coworkers to put more ice in the drinks to save money on the actual liquid because I have a friend who works at Sonic. In conclusion (I thank and appreciate you for reading all of this), do not let them give you a full bag of food, and do not buy the Double Stuf Oreo Cones without something to put them in, or tell them to give you something to put them in. Because those cones will melt, and they will spill all over you if you don't live 3 minutes away. Side note: the best thing they have there overall is the mozzerella sticks, because they are juicy and cooked perfectly ever time, and have seasonings on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI didn't think it could possibly get worse than Red Bank. This location proved me incredibly wrong. My wife and I pulled up and ordered 2 vanilla ice cream cones and a Route 44 cup of ice. The total was substantially higher than the same order in Red Bank - I can only assume they're charging the same for a cup of ice as they would for a cup of diamonds. 15 minutes after I ordered, I was ready to leave but didn't because I had swiped my debit card at the machine in my drive-in stall, and didn't want to pay for something without getting it. Another 5 minutes after that, the girl finally appeared with the smallest ice cream cones I have ever seen and a cup about half-full of ice. 20 minutes for that. It turned out that the card reader didn't work (which makes it fit right in with the employees of this dump) so she had to go run the card at another stall. I never did get my ticket, which I was hoping to get so I'd have a ticket number when I call Sonic corporate Monday - I'll have to check my bank to make sure she didn't empty my checking account.
If the employees of this location are paid more than a dollar an hour, they're grossly overpaid.
After my experiences with this location and the Red Bank location, I'm done with Sonic altogether. My wife loves pellet ice, but if she wants me to get it for her, it'll be from the Circle K...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to this Sonic location yesterday with my mother. When we got to stall one, we tried to submit what stall we were at and it would not let us while it was saying ābad internet connectionā. We moved to another stall (stall 5). One of their workers came out with our order trying to find the car that the order went to. She came to us and said āCan yāall move stalls? This one donāt work.ā (Me and my mother didnāt know. They didnāt have it marked or labeled with any problems, and it was our third time at this location.) Then she said, āWe canāt hear you and you canāt hear us.ā The tone in her voice was a little rude to ask a customer to move without any knowledge of the broken stall. The stall was working fine, press the red button and it would do the usual thing. My mother asked what the order was that she was holding kindly, and the worker rudely said, āWhy?ā, then read order name and what is was. My mother said, āThatās our order. We were at stall one, but it was saying ābad connectionā.ā The worker condensedinly told us that it went through and they were wondering where the car went. Iām unhappy with this sonic and find another one in Chattanooga when Iām there. This is the third Sonic that I had to move to multiple stalls due to some stalls being broken without any labels or marking...
