Fiesta Mexicana — Restaurant in Chattanooga

If there were an option to provide a star for a zero I would place it. I couldn't believe the lack of care or attention at any restaurant ever imagined that I experienced today. However, this sadly took the cake. We were seated for over 20 minutes at the bar with no service. Meanwhile within our sight/ seated at the bar; 7 members of Fiesta's staff were all within our view taking a break having dinner "ALL" at the same time. During this time the line was piled high at the hostess station for food orders being picked up. I expressed my disappointment to one of the servers mentioning being from the Southwest having authentic Mexican food and growing up in the restraunt business how the service received tonight would have been unacceptable to anyone caring enough to make a difference or impact in the restaurant business. She walked away swiftly saying she didn't know what that concept or meaning actually meant. I will not ever plan on going back to this establishment as this was NOT the first time having this kind of experience there. You would think in the service industry; attention and care would be at the forefront of our servers and managers concerns/ priorities as this is their main source of income. SADLY we were...

food was EXCELLENT! service was EXCELLENT!!!! our food came out fast and fresh! HOWEVER it took us 15 minutes just to pay after our meal. we actually walked out after waiting so long because no one would run the cash register. we came back after our server followed us and told us he would have to pay for our meal if we didn’t pay. i didn’t want to do that to him because he was amazing. after getting back inside we had to wait ANOTHER 5 minutes just to pay so we could leave. we asked to speak to a manager, but she was on the phone… and running cash. another customer told us this happens all the time. no one is ever running cash and if she is she’s always on the phone (not taking orders) when we explained 15 minutes is too long to wait to pay she said it was because of low staff. we saw at least 8 people run past us from the kitchen, to togo, to the dining room. can only one person run the cash register? it was not a busy night. im not sure ill come back again, if we do, we’ll tell the server to run the card as soon as we...

ToGo fee per entre. Lame. My family and I live really close to this location. We have eaten here many times and the food is usually really tastey, although I will admit I usually get the same thing- Enchilada Suizas. Over time the prices have gone up and the quality of the food seems to have gone down. Tonight we ate our food simply because we were starving by the time our To-Go order was ready and because we paid so much. EACH entre had an extra $3 “to-go” fee, FYI, and the “10 minutes” they quoted was more like 35. Holding my sleeping toddler while waiting an extra 20 mins was super awesome. (I waited to go inside until 5 mins after they said it’d be ready) Our Suizas were wrapped in 4 corn tortillas each , vs the usual one - carb city! and there was what may have amounted to a half a teaspoon of tomatillo sauce on it. Very cold. Very bland. All in all not a good experience and I’m sad to say we will not be back. We gave them a solid 3 or 4 more try’s after we noticed a decline. Lesson learned for...
