Every time we passed this place we saw nobody in there and thought this place must not be that good. Then my daughter and I had a mother/daughter weekend and she wanted Mexican food. Being from California where it's on every corner we have had a hard time finding good Mexican food. We Yelped this place and it had good reviews so we tried it. YUM!!!! Chips and Salsa great! Salsa is spicy if you can't handle heat. I asked for a side of guacamole for my daughter because she couldn't handle it. My daughter got the Menudo she loved it. Said it was almost as good as my dads was ❤. I got the nachos fries with carne asada, very good! Next time I am going to get the flautas. We did have to ask for refills of things, but when we got there there was only 1 family. We arrived and like 3 to 4 other families came in and got very busy. The food took a bit, but it was VERY fresh like it was cooked from scratch so I can see why. Overall we enjoyed it VERY much. Our server did check on us often after we got our food. We paid and my daughter asked me if we could leave a tip. We definitely want to take my boyfriend back to have him try it. He LOVES his Mexican food. Hence one of the reasons why he's with me LOL. Highly recommended!

I was not expecting the awesome flavor. Good atmosphere with Latin music playing at a appropriate volume level that let's you enjoy the time. Jamaica water was just great. Beans and rice flawless 😋 with steak tacos was a good choice. The different salsas all of them just great and it felt like tortillas were fresh made. I have found a place to save on my map. I totally recommended this place you won't regret.

"Though I rarely dine out, I recently discovered a gem: the small restaurant at 1679 S Market Blvd, Chehalis, WA. It's a must-try, especially if you appreciate food cooked fresh to order, served piping hot straight from the kitchen."

First off, never get an alpastor on your nacho fries, let alone getting the nacho fries. The fries were undercooked, and the alpastor had canned pineapple. It made my stomach immediately flip and was uneasy. Asked to replace it with a steak nacho fries. Still got charged for both, with no care for the customers. While I understand the ingredients were still used, and it's still something I messed up on. But why would you even offer something so under the bar of okay food that you'd serve that and then have the balls to charge for two... My bf got the 3 tacos and an extra one with the alpastor. And it was basically inedible. My mom got the same 3 tacos but with steak. It was filling, but not good whatsoever. The rice and beans on the side were horrendous as well. The rice was overcooked, and the beans were... microwaved... 🤢

Its the second time going there, and I will not be going back, and I seriously advise them to get better staff or a better menu.

Love me some Mexican food. But this place has now been...

Tasteless and crazily expensive.

Torta had no flavor, little meat, no avocado, old bread and for $16

Quesibirria tacos, were made from a machete kind of tortilla (thick tortilla uncooked in the middle), the caldo had no flavor and I didn't notice the cheese for $21.99

Flautas, more like a fried burrito with rice and beans. Flavor was ok, but $21.99!?

Ceviche tostada was just spice, a bunch of jalapeño and stinky shrimp for $12!?

Agua de Jamaica small for $5!?

Agua de horchata small for $7!?

This place is just insanely expensive for what it is (just the regular corner place), I don't mind paying $100 per plate if it was well prepared and flavor was mind-blowing (bought the same things two days ago a few miles from there for half the price and twice the flavor).

Do I recommend it? BIG NO! drive to another place and get a good lunch or dinner for a third of this...
