It's eh. It's good. Service is great. The food is decent. Upkeep could use work big time.
It's a wonderful little spot where there isn't much else in terms of fast food. It's fast food but you can tell that time is taken to prepare it. Fries are always hot and fresh, for example. None of that sitting in a hot box BS big chains do. Sandwiches are crafted well and with care. The only bad side is that of the times I've gotten a regular sized cheese burger, the bottom bun has been wet. Dine in, too. So, it's not like I drove home and then ate. Edible but weird as heck.
Service is great. It's a little awkward, not much, but it is a minimum wage job, so like, duh. All around decent, fast, and good work.
However, the booth seats are dusty, crumby, and gross. ALSO, the salt and pepper shakers are always STICKY? Which is just nasty. And the tables don't get cleaned nearly enough.
The decoration is dated. I understand being very involved in the community- but it doesn't have much else to look at aside from kids that did sports or a play or something. There is nothing wrong with having pride in funding/being part of that. Simply- what else?
It's a family diner. My expectations aren't high, but in the time of covid and such, you'd think it'd be cleaned more than once or twice a day. Again, I'm not expecting much here.
Regardless, nice place, decent food, quick but not TOO quick, and good milkshakes. I always ask for my fries crispy to make sure they're done enough too (in any place). It's not too pricey, not too bad.
And lastly, i left my mobility aid there on accident. It was still there, hidden in a corner when I came back to keep it safe. So THANK YOU!!!!! I truly...
Read moreI've been coming here for years the place is what it is. The burgers have been good, fries are often under cooked lately, but it is what it is. However today I went there, my order was simple 2 burgs only sauce, 1 fry and asked for fry sauce and ketchup. Pulled around back waited for food. It came in a normal timely manner, except my order was wrong, both burgs had no sauce just plain and 2 fry sauces instead of 1 ketchup, no biggie I go in give em back the burgers they fix them and i ask for ketchup. They try and charge me a quarter for the ketchup even after they got my order wrong, I was like I didnt order 3 sauces I just wanted a ketchup and a fry sauce so they asked me to go back out to my car and get the extra fry sauce I recieved in place of the ketchup I originally asked for. And now they are probably serving that to the next customer, who has no idea it has been in my hands and car and who knows if i opened it already or not. Then to kindly make up for my inconvenience they offered me a token for a free ice cream, which would have been nice had they not just fussed over a free ketchup they messed up on worth 25 cents. Instead if the ice cream, I would have just appreciated the ketchup with no fuss or knowledge that they restock sauces once handed out to the public. She apologized when she took the fry sauce back and said sorry my boss has gotten after me 1 too many times for giving away free sauce. I said it's fine I didnt want free sauce i just wanted what I had originally ordered. I would hope that this kind of a situation would be an exception for the boss. Especially since they probably lose more money on free ice cream...
Read moreWhat happened to this place?! I paid $21.10 for 2 Large (oily AF fries) 2 measly thin battered corned dogs. My wife called and complained about our fries and explained that would bring them back for them to look at. I show up and they didn’t even look at what was purchased. I was arrogantly told that they are using new fries and oil. As a matter of fact, Dairy Dan can’t replace them because “nothing’s wrong with them.” That’s how the finish product is. No offer of a replacement or refund, but actually told that if I want new fries, I would have to purchase them. Ridiculous unbelievable arrogance. I told them you could keep my returned fries and told them I would talk to someone else. I drove off disappointed! What poor customer service telling me that I’m the one with the problem for not being able to eat their OILY AF fries and lack of solution for an inedible product. PICTURE PROOF OF POOR QUALTY PRODUCTS PURCHASED: The browning of these fries are not because they are well done, it’s because the potato in the fry is SATURATED AF WITH THEIR “NEW OIL.” Paper thin battered corned dog. You can a buy 1/5 of the price and a better battered corned dog from SafeWay Deli next door. That is not flattering comparison. So disappointing, but I sure feel validated looking at recent 1 star reviews. Unless things drastically change, I AM NEVER BUYING...
