Sweet Dough Cookie Co — Restaurant in Chehalis

This is a relatively new spot run by a local family where you can see their love in their family and their sweet treats! We are obsessed with the cookies and look forward to the new creations each week. They are classic, they are creative, they are gorgeous and nothing beats the taste. If I had to pick a favorite out of the 4 weeks (in a row) that we have gone, I still think my favorite is the peanut butter and the fluffernutter rivaled it. :) We have learned that preorder is the way to get in and out quickly. But waiting in line before they open at 9am on Saturday gives you a chance to try the other creations she dreams up that are not preorder selections. You cannot go wrong either way. Did I mention how genuinely friendly they all are each time we have been there? That shop is the full package of hospitality with a generous reception when you get to the counter and even with a line that swirls inside and outside the store front they still treat you as their only customer and work quickly but do not make you feel rushed. I love the clean crisp look of the store and the little bit of merchandise is sweet and worth stopping to check out. The price is also well worth it. You can't talk price without talking quality and for the quality product that is sold, the price is understated. You have made me a sweet dough cookie fan!

Yes, she is only open on Saturday’s, but she puts her heart and soul into every cookie she makes. She is the best cookie decorator that I have ever seen, and I have ate a lot of cookies in my life. Her sugar cookies and the way she decorates them is something to see and experience. Her buttercream is a specialty, and my absolute favorite is her S’mores cookie. I had it over the summer and have been asking my best friend, Jessika who is a regular, to check for me when this one will be back! I drive over an hour from Gig Harbor from time to time to experience her cookies. They are truly special and her shop is sooo cute! She also has apparel for sale. Arrive early to guarantee the cookie you want, or do her preorder! Bring camping season back early with S’mores...

I have done pre orders several times and twice and they were closed when I came to pick up my cookies. I didn’t get my cookies and was out the money I prepaid. Very disappointing. There has to be a better way to do business. I will say the last time she changed the pick up time on that ONE day and I missed it on the Facebook post. The hours are always the same except this one day and I was 9 minutes late. I would have gladly taken down my if she had shown any remorse or tried to right it in a way but she just showed me that I was wrong. I do love her Sugar her cookies (the rest are WAY TO SWEET) but I’m not a fan of the customer service. I guess when you can make all the money you need in one day you don’t need good...
