Sushi Yanagi — Restaurant in Chelmsford

Update- Pains me to do this, but it's very unfortunate that the small details are being neglected. Shrimp should always be cleaned and deveined. It is very unappetizing to bite into uncleaned shrimp. The sauce that was packed was also not properly sealed and spilled its contents into the bag. Ordering over the phone was also a hassle. I specifically mentioned that there was an entire separate order of a menu item (not including with what came with the bento box) and verified with the staff memeber. Do yourself a favor and do dine in or order online. The person taking the orders on the phone seems not to understand specific instructions, at least the person that answered today 7/8/2023.

I've dined in and have also gotten delivery from Sushi Yanagi, I'm pleased to say I haven't ever been disappointed with either. Dining in is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the waitstaff are always very attentive. Food generally comes out quickly, but not suspiciously quick, if you catch my drift. The meals are always perfect temperature, some of my favorites are the Thai curry soup (spicy), vegetable tempura, fried rice and makimono rolls. Their Rangoon's are also delicious! This is my second time ordering takeout from Sushi Yanagi and I felt compelled to write a review. My first order of sushi from this place was so delicious- my husband and I have tried other sushi places in the immediate area (Lowell/Chelmsford) but nothing was really jumping out. Today I had a craving for a veggie roll so I ordered the cucumber avocado roll as well as the chicken tempura roll. I can't explain in words how creamy and perfectly ripe the avocado was in both of these rolls!! So many times I've ordered rolls from other places and the avocado is underripe, dry and hard. Sushi Yanagi's is always green, bright, and perfectly ripe. The chicken tempura roll was flavorful and a good size too! I love that they let you add sauces to your to go order as well, which isn't always available with other sushi places on ordering apps. I have never dined-in at this restaurant, but I have nothing but rave reviews for their food. I will continue to order from them because their sushi is fresh and consistent, and the priced are fair. Highly recommend them, especially for take out- they blow the other available places out of the water...

I live closer to the beaches so I’ve tried many good spots for poke bowls; all of them have been mid mainly due to the bowls being overpriced and scarce with food. However, I go to school near Sushi Yanagi and was craving a poke bowl.

I LOVE how simple the order was. They have one option of poke bowl and it came with everything I love in my bowl. I gotta say, this was the BEST POKE BOWL I’ve ever had. So full, fresh fish, and very tasty. The PRICE cannot be beaten: 17$ for a full poke bowl, small soup AND salad!!!!
