I just gave it a 2 stars because of some employees who are actually trying to make it better, especially the morning Saturday crews. But it couldn't make up for all the other bad service in this restaurant especially the night crews in the drive thru. They almost always have bad order accuracy, something is always missing or wasn't the right thing you ordered. For example, my daughter and I once wanted to try the St. Patrick's shake that they had at the drive thru. After waiting so long we finally got our orders and went home then we noticed the shake was pink instead of green and found out it was just the Strawberry shake. To top it all, one of our burgers was missing and there were no sauces (we told them what we wanted) for the nuggets we ordered. We had to go back to the restaurant when we were already home. Now we always check our orders before we leave, but even then up till now, at the restaurant we always discover something is missing. I love their iced caramel mocha coffee, but they also don't make that order in the same way. Most of the time they make the iced coffee with whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top which I love. But one time at the night drive thru, they didn't. so I just said, next time I'll try asking for it when I order. Next time I actually did try and asked for it while ordering, but when I picked it up at the window it wasn't done that way again. I asked the guy at the window for it and waited long. I didn't mind I thought he was making it, but I found out he was just waiting for another person to tell me they didn't do that. I didn't argue anymore as there was a long line of cars behind me. It's always a touch and go at this restaurant location, I try not to go here often only when I really need to and in a hurry as it is the closest one to my house. But I always avoid going here now and rather go to the next Chic fil a, of which I have never experienced anything like this. One time I went there at a time when the item I wanted still wasn't served. Then the guy said, but of course, we'll have it for you. So far from the coffee incident I have at this location. It's been 3 months since I haven't been back to...
Read moreI went to the McDonald's at 1374 military highway South in Chesapeake Virginia at approximately 11:00 am on August 22 ,2019. My fifteen-year-old daughter and I placed an order and sat at the table approximately 20 feet from the counter waiting for our order to be called. The female that was calling the numbers out had a soft-spoken voice so I was listening extra hard. We waited for 20 minutes nothing showed up on the screen and we did not hear anybody calling our number. I finally approached the lady at the counter. Which turned out to be a manager she said she called my number three times I told her my daughter and I were sitting 20 feet away and we never saw the number show up on the screen nor heard her call the number. She handed me the food and says here's your order. The fries were cold and I told her she needed to remake the fries because I wasn't taking them cold. She snatches the bag and mumbles under her voice about the order. At this point I told her stop, I want my money back. A guy walks up and advised me his name was Steve and that he was the area manager, and he begins to state that he was sitting in the back corner of the store and he heard my number called three different times. I told him of course he's going to take up for his employees. The seat that I was sitting in I could see him and he was typing on a computer the entire time except for one time when an employee walks from out from the kitchen over to him to tell him something. At this point I'm a little upset not yelling but upset. The female manager tells me to quit yelling at her that she would remake my food I told her no to give me my money back. I got my money back and I left I will never go back to the store.I've had loads of bad experiences at this location and I'll try to give them the benefit of the doubt. Most of the managers and employees at this location have bad attitudes and act like they don't want to be there and that we're just an inconvenience for them. Until they train these people right they're going to have...
Read moreThe crew, amazing. The tall black dude that actually helped me. Amazing dude.
The short older black lady at the front counter who has no business working there? Awful. Absolutely awful. Upon ordering my food at the kiosk, we received it in a timely manner. Minus my 13 Cookie Tote. I figured it would take time to make whatever. Time passes by I go to check on it once. Lady completely ignored me. I go sit down and enjoy my food while it’s still warm. I get up a little while later finally getting her attention after she helped a gentleman. I ask her for an ETA on the 13 cookie tote. She looked confused and clueless. I show her on my app where I ordered it about 15 minutes prior. She was still clueless claiming they have had no orders for cookies. She walked to the back. I sit back down assuming she’s checking. My pregnant wife goes up there to wait for it since she wanted them. Lady comes back with a bag. My wife asks “these are the cookies?” She replied “yes” we bring it back to the table and open the bag, it’s a 10pc nuggets with some sauces.
I go back up there with the bag and the receipt that I didn’t know was stickied onto my tray hiding under my food (kiosk didn’t print a receipt) and talk to the tall black guy (amazing guy, super apologetic) explained what was going on. He asks her why she handed us the wrong food claiming it was the cookies. She said I never asked about cookies and said chicken nuggets. When he mentioned I said cookies she had the AUDACITY while IN FRONT of me to say “well that’s not what he told me”
She should be fired. Lying to your crew. Lying to customers about what good you just handed them. Paying 0 attention to what customers are saying. And being disrespectful to customers. It took everything me and my wife had to not be petty and make a scene because of that clueless lady who had NO BUSINESS working in that...
