MP Island Cafe — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Me and my husband always headed at MP Island in the morning and they never miss a beat on their food, I’m really loving their food, very tasty, very fresh, very hot, and spicy the way I love it, and also very nice service. So far me and my husband had been their almost 30 or more times, not mention almost everyday we both been their and today and maybe tomorrow and the next day or after that, all I’m saying is this place is a blessing where all trays are full and most times over full which that’s even better’ you will get your moneys worth guaranteed and will not be disappointed unless you must have a very bad day before you get their. While I enjoyed the food I do think for delivery orders the customer is cheated. I ordered using DoorDash and when my food arrived the main area of the takeout container where the meat should be was filled with greens and the smaller areas are where they put my second side and my oxtails. Normally the meat is the star not the sides. While I would eat there again next time I will go in person so I can see my meal being fixed. I ordered 3 dinners and all of them were like that!! That is the first time I had experienced a restaurant doing this for take out, in my opinion that is cheating the customer for the price you pay. Today I went to this location at lunch, it was only one person working the line and checking customers out. I witnessed 2 people leaving while waiting in line because of the extended period of time that they were waiting. I was okay with waiting as I know sometimes employee shortage occurs. But what really caused me to leave myself was because that one employee had no gloves on while touching money and checking customers out and then going back and fourth to the food line and plating food without ever having gloves on....
