New China — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I like their food, but as many are pointing out their attitude and rudeness makes them undesirable. I had been ordering from them for ages and all of a sudden they told me they did not deliver to my area. Also, it depends on whom is delivering. When an oriental delivers, he just quickly pockets your money, hands you the food and tries to haul-a__. I once had an order that came to $23 and some change. I gave the driver two twenties which he quickly pocketed, handed me my food and proceeded to leave. I only lived a smidgen over a mile from the place and although the service was good, it was not worth a $16 tip. I occasionally order from them and pick it up. It would be nice for them to catch up with the times and accept credit cards over the phone and do delivery to those right at their door. It is frustrating to call because they advertise delivery only to find out they don't accept credit cards over the phone or for delivery/they don't deliver down the street. As far as rudeness, they are quick to hang up on you before you ask more questions about anything. They give one the impression that you need to hurry up and buy or go away (whether one knows what to buy and how much it costs). Everything...

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE, ESPECIALLY WHEN UR STARVING!! I had ordered delivery, and theyve always delievered here before....they KNOW my apt. Well, each time I've ordered from there, they have been getting slower, and slower, and orders wrong... Well, needless to say, this time I waited 1 hr and 30 mins for them, after my original time was 25 mins. I called, delivery guy was "on his way." I called a second time, they made up a lie, and said they knocked on the door, but nobody answered. I have 2 dogs, one a chihuahua, one a lab. I live in a very SMALL apt, and i was sitting on the couch for that whole hour and a half watching TV. NOBODY knocked on my door. So, then they told me the delivery guy was on his way. 20 mins later...nobody shows up. Call them back...OH NOW we have to come pick it up OURSELVES cuz they're too "busy"!!! I asked for a refund...I will NEVER order from...

Placed an order for delivery and was rushed off the phone. Realized I hadn't paid with the credit card I had planned to pay with so I called right back. They advised me they could only accept cash I told them okay then that's fine and again was rudely rushed off the phone. An hour later my food was not here so I called back a third time. I told them my food had not arrived so they looked up my information then proceeded to tell me in a very loud disrespectful manner that it was my fault because I cancelled and that it was now too late for me to get food because delivery hours are over. Never again! If I could give them zero stars I would. Horrible customer service and I can't even call them a restaurant because I received no food. If you're hungry go somewhere else. If you want an unprofessional conversation then...
