Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Chesapeake

This was absolutely my LAST time ordering from PIZZA HUT ... Zero Stars should be an option. I ordered two large pizzas ($50 worth) and was unable to eat any of it. First and foremost FALSE ADVERTISEMENT the reason we even decided to order out amidth Corona pandemic: you marketed the order I placed from your advertisement as NO CONTACT pizza/delivery... The pizza delivery person came to the door rang the doorbell and refused to leave even though the pizza was already previously paid for with tip included online.... I talked through the window and my door and told him it was supposed to be a no contact order he said he needed a signature... once I reluctantly open the door to sign for it, he pulled the cardboard boxes out of the warmer which weren't prepped in the way the advertisement showed.... and when he passed them off to me, it was almost as if he intentional touched my hand with his just to prove a point... Once we got the pizza inside the house unboxed it... it was then I noticed the pizzas weren't even fully cooked... top or bottom. The top of the pizza was mushy raw doe under the toppings and the bottom was not browned at all.... I'm usually not one to comment, or complain, but I feel as if from the very start to the end of this ordeal it was FALSE ADVERTISEMENTand truly a subpar product that I received. $50 worth of pizza tossed in the TRASH. Fool me once shame on you..... fool me twice shame on me.... I PROMISE you that Pizza Hut will never have a chance to fool me...

Update: 4/20/24 This is the last time I'm giving this location a chance. If I'm craving PH, I'll do carryout from another location or just choose another pizza spot. I order 2 pizzas: a medium cheese & large pepperoni. Both pan pizzas. First, these were not pan pizzas unless their hand tossed looks like thin crust. Secondly, the cheese pizza looked horrible and tasted just as bad. The pepperoni pizza looked fine & my son was satisfied. This isn't the first bad experience I've had with this location since my last review, but it will be my last. Do better Pizza Hut! **Previous review: This is just tonights experience because I've had great pizza from this location many times. However, tonight was not good. Customer service was great but the food was not. I ordered 3 personal pan pizzas. I picked them up & dropped one off to my mom's house. I look at it when I get to her house & the pizza is burnt, it's hard & hardly has any cheese on it. I go back out to my car to look at the other 2 pizzas & they look the same. There was no issue when I called to request that they be remade. I get the new pizzas & although they're not burned, they are definitely not the usual personal pan pizzas I get from them. I dropped off the second pizza to my mom, my son ate his & i nibbled mine but didn't even want it anymore. Not sure if i can post a pic, but it doesn't do it justice on how thin this pizza is. Food was great, but at the cost of time and patience. It took 56 minutes from the time my online order was complete to the time they handed me my pizza. This is my first non 5 star rating, and I'm only leaving it because after leaving the store twice because they clearly had no care in the world about their customers, they still refused to say anything that would show they were at least somewhat apologetic about taking 1 hour to make a pizza. A little "We're sorry for your wait, enjoy your pizza" would have been nice, but they didn't care.

I kid you not, after placing my order, I waiting for a commercial break, drive 15 minutes, saw there was still 16 minutes left for my pizza to be ready, drive to McDonald's and had 2 mcchickens and a double cheeseburger, went back to Pizza Hut to see there was still 6 minutes remaining, walked next door to dollar general and walked up and down every aisle, and the pizza STILL wasn't done! The screen said it was, but it hadn't been cut yet!

2 stars because the food was great. Pizza Hut just needs to make everything automated, because their employees (at least at this location) don't deserve the money they're...
