Subway — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Four employees plus the owner in store. Neglecting customers while all talking, I guess a mini meeting. At least greet your customers and say be right with you.

Then the meeting dissolves and two employees man the counter. One bread/meat the other vegetable.

Guy in front of me has two subs with a bunch of stuff and is kind of slow with his order. Employee also taking forever to perfect the way the meat sits on bread. Waiting. Waiting. The other employee just standing there. Inefficient. For quite a time. He could of been making the man's second sub and or mine, and getting things going instead of standing there.then hop back over to his original duty station when first employee is caught up. This occurs at most subways...teamwork rather than stand around doing nothing on the clock!

Place next door has great Chinese food. Didn't get to review the sub I was...

If i could i woukd give them 1/2 star. I visted there tonight(7/11/19). While we were eating the male employee took his hands and brushed the food from the tables to the floor with his hands. There were dirty foot prints from the front door to the bathroom. In the bathroom were dead bugs. Took pictures of this to show to the manager. Female emplyee laying over the counter talking to the male employee while one lone young lady was working. Needless to say the two who weren't doing anything had nasty attitudes like they really didn't want to be there. If they don't they should step aside and let someone who really wants to work work. Being in retail if the two of them worked for me they would be terminated...

I usually love Subway I go at least once a week until last night when I went.First the guy making my subs had no idea what he was doing I wanted cucumbers on my sub they ran out and some very rude woman working asked me if there was a problem when I shook my head she ssid "well we ran out theres nothing I can do about it and its nothing to get an attitude about" then tried to ask her about my daughters jiuice because there wasnt any in their freezer she cut me off again but this point I was livid i gathered my subs and as i was leaving she smugly said "you want me to go get a cuccumber from next door" in front of 5-6 customers I spent 30 bucks on subs I'll drive out of my way before I ever visit...
