Final edit, raised my review to two stars only because the person who finally gave me my food at 7:40 p.m. after I called from the line and said I was the same person who called a half an hour ago and was told to get in line and was still several cars away from the speaker, was very humble and apologetic.
They explained that they had just the two of them in there and the doordash orders were overwhelming the orders at the store, and they even upgraded my son's drink because they were out of pink lemonade so they comped him a strawberry freeze from the Taco Bell side of the house which will make him very happy.
I offered that they should find a new system for when online orders are placed, other than having them get in the Drive-Thru line, because that was not going to work. I should not have had to wait an hour after ordering online, no matter how remorseful the employee was and how kind they were in the end, I'm still getting back to my house at bedtime with food that should have already been there 35 minutes ago
Placed my order online drove from my house all the way to the store all the doors are locked you can't go in, call into the store to inquire about how I'm supposed to get my order without waiting in the line that is wrapped around the building and I'm told I have to get in line and wait like everybody else even though I already ordered and paid for my food. They said that the chicken just came up and that the order hasn't been made yet, so what is the point in ordering online, this is nonsense I'm going to be here all night and they already have my money so I can't drive away.
Edited to update. I placed my order online at 6:43 and got my confirmation email, I drove to the store, and at 7 called asking how am I supposed to get the food and was told to get in line like everybody else. It is now almost 30 minutes later and there are still three cars between me and the speaker where you place your order. According to the status online, my food is ready for pickup and has been for several minutes, but at this rate I won't even get to the window to have it handed to me for another half an hour. Katrina does not pay attention to the customers order because she is on her phone texting and then she proceeds to give the customer what she wants instead of asking if they would like something different because what they ordered wasn't available...asked for a chicken chulupa because customer doesn't eat red meat but because she was texting gave the customer a steak No receipt given because the order was completely wrong and charged $29 to the customer
We all make mistakes because we are human but when your attitude doesn't match(your mistake) and the energy is antagonizing and you invite the customer to fight ...Katrina needs to GO....super disrespectful young lady and KFC /Taco Bell should do better... I know that the hiring pool is slim but do better and offer a better wage and you won't end up hiring problematic people like Katrina. Also give your people company jackets so they don't wear their personal coat in Druve thru serving customers.. Read more2nd time I’ve had this issue with this Taco Bell and it’s the night shift. I first wait 20 minutes at drive thru speaker with only 3 cars in line. This is at 1:30 am on a Thursday night.Around the 10 min mark the light skin guy with dreads tells me they will be with me in a minute. 10 minutes later no one gets on intercom. I have to say hello for someone to finally come back and then I had to repeat my order to the guy 4 times as if he was high or something. I finally move up to drive thru window and I have to wait another 15 min after paying just to get my food. He finally comes to window with my food and forgets my drink. I blow my horn after another 5 min and the young lady with glasses also light skin comes to window basically coldy throws my drink in my hand with a mean stare and hurry up and shuts the window no apology nothing.
