I’ve been coming to this location for a long time and from a customer and business stand point there are a few improvements that could be made.
During summer, the patio door is almost always locked. Customers should not need to ask for the patio door to be unlocked as the default. This could be listed in the morning staff checklist.
The store is often uncomfortably cold. I’ve left several times because of this, and I’ve heard others mention it too.
A few baristas are great, but overall, most baristas could use consistent customer service training. At times they come off rude which my not be the intention. General training on how to greet a customer is essential. I've also stood at the cashier as the only person in line and have timed how long it's taken for staff to simply acknowledge I'm in line - around 2-3 minutes with about 6 people actively working.
Bias training is needed. Let me say that again, bias training is needed. There is a difference between how customers of ethnicities are greeted. A warm smile and hello vs seemingly being ignored. Not all staff are like this but the majority of staff need bias training. After reading some review on here...I'm echoing other's sentiments.
Indoor and patio tables should be wiped down more frequently. They are getting wiped at about every 3-4 hours.
When staff is asked to wipe a table or open the patio door, they are always willing. But the point is, customers should not need to request this 99% of the time, the tasks should be accounted for in daily todo list. If lean on management more that the staff on these things.
Lastly, the link Starbucks (Owner) keeps posting under poor customer reviews does not work. The link takes you to a page that take you back to the same page -- no real feedback can be given...
Read moreThis place has awful customer service and they can’t seem to make drinks properly. Went through the drive thru and waited at the window for 10 mins for two drinks. The second drink was a venti iced vanilla latte for my sister. When I got back home she took a sip and there was no vanilla syrup so I brought it back to get a different drink. When I got to the counter to tell her all she said was what was the drink and do you have a card to put the money back. There was no apology and she seemed annoyed as if it was my fault (like I wanted to drive all the way back there in the first place) Then she did not convey to the people making the drink that it was a mess up and the drink needed to be remade asap instead I waited and after some time I asked where the drink was and was told it’s a 15 minute wait time. I told her it was unacceptable as it was a wrong drink order and she said oh nobody told me there was a remake. Again no apology. She gave the other man the cup to make the drink and I still waited another 5 minutes only to have him give me the drink wrong so I said to him this is wrong and he took it back again with no apology. He then remade it and when I got back home it was completely wrong still. It was a pink drink with no coconut milk in it. I understand being overwhelmed. But that doesn’t mean that the customer service should be horrible. I don’t think I’ll be going back here again and I don’t recommend anybody go here if they plan on...
Read moreI walked into Starbucks this morning to order a tea a medicine ball. When I walked in everyone looked at me like I was an alien. The girl Who was standing near the register with a pad in her hand? Walked away from the register as I stood there and went over to the drive-thru window. And I waited for service about almost 5 minutes. Then she comes back. Asking me could she take my order didn't say good morning or anything? I then proceed to give her my order. I asked her to put eight sugar. she tells me to go to the counter and get my sugar. And I told her any other Starbucks that I have went to I had never had that problem. She had an attitude the service suck everyone was standing around like they were lost. But if I was white and I went in there, they would have jumped to serve me. Starbucks is racist. There's always complaints about the Starbucks. I never drunk the tea or coffee there. And this was my third time, but I never stopped in the one in Cheshire. They need to go through retraining. Whoever the girl was. And I will never go back...
