Sakana Asian Bistro — Restaurant in Cheshire

Got there around 6:30pm with my family of 5. Our waitress was not friendly. She took our order and then brought drinks out sporadically. We waited a while for everyone to get their drinks, then she brought us our salads. She did not give us forks or napkins. We had to ask for them. She brought them separately and took her time as we waited to eat our salads. Then one of my children asked for no avocado with their bento box California rolls. She did not listen to us. My child was given the California rolls WITH avocado with her bento box and was then charged for a SEPARATE order of California rolls without avocado! We told her she was allergic and it was still put in with her dinner! She never came to ask how things were. Not once. Then it took quite some time to ask for our check. We were there for over 2 hours!! We got out after 8:30pm and it wasn't busy AT ALL!! the part that irritates me is that I was told what tip to give and was charged that!! If it was up to me she would NOT have gotten a $30 tip for doing TERRIBLE job. I will make sure I tell everyone I know the terrible service I got and to not go there and to go to the other sushi place down the road.. I then complained to the hostess and another worker and was pretty much dismissed!!...

Was seated next to a family with a screaming child. Normally , I wouldn't be bothered except I have a bad headache , I've been working since 7 and the place had alot of tables. I politely asked to be moved because this kid was literally right in my ear. I was put back into the far corner of the bar, where I waited for 15 minutes to get brought a menu and water. I walked out! Im not patronizing a restaurant who does this to customers. Horrible service and I will not be back even though I liked the food. The family with the screaming kid shouldn't be seated in the middle of your restaurant

I actually called and spoke to the female manager who is a joke. She was rude, told me I could have come over to her and didnt seem to care about what...

Recently visited with my wife and 3 year old. We were extremely impressed and happy with our overall experience. Our waitress Nancy was absolutely amazing! She got our little guys lo mein out to him very quickly without us having to ask. She was also extremely attentive and friendly.

Our food was amazing as well. Our son devoured his large serving of chicken lo mein (no veggies), the sushi rolls were very good, the hot and sour soup was arguably some of the best I've ever had and the black pepper chicken was definitely the best I've ever had. Overall, we loved the food and Nancy helped make our overall experience a great one. We plan to definitely go again...
