Bagelicious Bagels of Cheshire — Restaurant in Cheshire

So...it seems that even if this place may have the best bagels in the world I will never know. I walked in on a Sunday, around 1 pm. Sure, I know they close at 2 and the bagel selection would be limited. I can live with that.

As I am walking in, I see a guy eating at one of the tables. He is really into whatever he is eating. A good sign to me. Must be pretty good. More on him later.

What I cannot live with is having a guy on the sandwich counter, right next to where I am standing, waiting, and waiting, and waiting some more, and some other woman working there, walking back and forth, chatting with the sandwich guy, walking, back... forth... back... forth... back... forth... back... forth... ignoring me... ignoring me some more.

Finally, I had enough and walked out. Turns out the guy I passed is also a Bagelicious staffer. Sees the whole thing, me walk in. Me waiting. Me being ignored. Me walking out. Rather than say, oh hey, what's up, anything wrong? He just keeps on eating, staring vapidly, like some cow chewing its cud.

This is definitely the first, last, and only time I will walk in here.

Finally...I wanted to submit this review with 0 stars, but it seems I must give at least 1. Which is really about 3 more than...

the reason i’m not giving 5 stars is at first the service was amazing amazing food i think the older gentleman should always be there if it’s open because today i called at 1:38pm when they close at 2pm to place an order for two pretty easy bagels and the girl who answered was extremely rude when i could’ve just waited and walked in at 1:55 but i called to give them a heads up...i have worked in restaurants for over 10 years...i know people that work early want to go home but don’t work here if u can’t do your job right? if it says open until 2 ... be open until 2. you have the rest of your day to do what you need lol i have raved about these bagels and i come from 20 min away but i might as well just go back to dunkin’ donuts at this point where they don’t get mad at me for coming in 20 minutes prior to closing time. probably not coming back. i watched a women try to walk in at 1:48 just now as i’m actually writing this review from my car and the door was locked already! that’s crazy! an older women came to let her in but in my honest opinion that is bad for business. not a good look at all. hope the owner hears about this. won’t be back after the...

My recent visit to Bagelicious was far from satisfying. The bagels lacked the authentic taste I expected, resembling plain bread rather than the chewy, flavorful experience one anticipates from a bagel store.

Moreover, the hygiene standards at Bagelicious were disconcerting. The establishment was visibly unclean and run down. This level of neglect raises serious concerns about the overall safety of the food being served.

In my opinion, Bagelicious urgently needs a health inspection to address these issues and ensure a safer environment for customers.

I strongly advise potential patrons to explore other options for their bagel cravings if you are looking for a tasty...
