I really wish this place would bring back its dining in section because I miss that. They have two tables (and the main dining room section is blocked off because they have boxes and stuff back there) and I’ve actually never been there and both tables be taken because we always eat inside, so that’s good. The other Asian places in Chester don’t have any seating anymore so it would be really nice if this one would offer seating to everyone again. The people that work here are really nice and they have the best sweet tea (really sweet, the way I like it anyways). They have some good sushi, but their chicken and rice bowls aren’t my favorite. However, my nine-year-old very much disagrees and likes Umi better than all the other places I’ve taken him. Read moreWhere do I start!?!? Restaurant empty and they're cooking a whole stove top of rice and protein and I mean a pile of it and that should have been my first red flag! Because when I was handed my food the employee is on the phone which hindered me from asking any question I may have had….i left without checking my food! My mistake! Got home and the bag was full of the water they have the vegetables sitting in to keep them soft or mushy either one because it was a mixture of both type of vegetables. And I say water because there was no season or flavor with it….Protein was probably the 1st of 4 previously cooked piles of rice and meat I seen when picking mine up earlier. I asked the chef( he's also the owner) if I could possibly get some that wasn't frozen. He stated that in the summer time they keep it frozen so it will last longer?!?! What?? Its fresh, raw fish. I have lived all over the US and have never received frozen sashimi. He said gw wouldn't charge me and would bring me a new order. After eating I went to pay for mt soda and he charged me for my lunch. I asked him why he was charging me after telling me it was comp and he said since he remade it for me he had to charge me.
