Fire House Pub — Restaurant in Chesterfield Township

I stopped by this place after work on 11-30-18. I have never been there before so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The second I walked through the door I could smell freshly grilled hamburgers. There were plenty of staff there who were very friendly and quickly provided me with a menu and a drink. I ordered a burger and fries and it was cooked to perfection.I spoke with other patrons who rave about the place, and learned that it has a variety of specials depending on the day. Some of them even make sure to be there on the evenings when a man named Anthony is cooking. I must have hit the jackpot with him cooking that day because the food was amazing. The bar is also well-stocked with an experienced bartender behind it.

The place itself is set on the corner of a busy road. It is on the small side but it doesn't feel like it when you're inside. It also had quite a few TV's on the wall so people can watch the game from all angles and also Keno. The crowd is middle to upper-class which is an accurate representation of the neighborhood of Chesterfield. It is set in traditional pub decor and very clean.

Since the change in ownership, I gave this place multiple visits. The waitresses are WONDERFUL - Denise and Reese, especially. But our last experience tells me all I need to know about this place.

Ordered their spinach artichoke dip to start. Was told that this was the exact same recipe as previous owner...OMG NOPE. Mostly spinach with cold chunks of cream cheese mixed in. Discussed it with waitress... nothing ever said or done about it. When we first entered, a gentlemen was talking to each table, asking for feedback and thanking them for coming in. Our immediate thought was, "that's nice... glad to see that". But after we sent back our appetizer, the same gentleman began to avoid us. Never said one word to us.

Meals were good.... and to be honest, meals have always been consistent here.

But when I paid, I noticed a 3% fee for using a credit card. Wasn't told that was gonna happen.... nothing on the original receipt to notify me. Just added it on AFTER I paid. Lovely.... now I'm responsible for the cost of THEM doing business.

Plenty of other options in the area to stew over this for too long. But it's gonna take some work for them to get these...

I've been here for dinner twice since moving to Chesterfield and it's my new favorite! Both times I went there the was busy but I didn't have to wait for a table. The servers were fast, friendly and keeping our drinks full. Management checked on our table to see how everything was. But best of all, the food is damn delicious! First visit, we shared a pizza that was not shy on cheese and toppings and the sauce and crust were perfect. On my 2nd visit yesterday I ordered the fish and chips, substituting fries for onion rings. The fish was cooked spot on, not dry/not under done, and the beer batter was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Also, they have the BEST onion rings!! My family ordered the 2 for 1 burgers and I was instantly jealous when they came to the table. They were pretty big, oozing with cheese, and the pretzel bun was gorgeous. I was told their perch is something to write home about, so I will be back soon and plan to try everything on the menu (after another pizza...
