Kabob Town — Restaurant in Chesterfield Township

Craving falafel after an unsuccessful amazon marketplace run. Horrific heat-I desperately wanted mediterranean coffee but settled for iced tea. Gabby was so friendly and helpful. I had looked at the menu online before. I'd gone in and what they had on the menu matched, what I had found online, which was a really good sign, because a lot of places don't keep their online menus up to date. I ordered their sampler plate that had Hummus. Falafel, grape leaves. And baba ganoosh, which i'm not a real big fan of so I opted for an extra falafel. There's falafel, and there's falafels, sometimes the falafel is too crunchy on the outside and not soft.Enough on the inside, this was absolutely perfect. Dipped in the hummus or the greek garlic spread, it was phenomenal. I've had it at some other places where it's kind of runny.This was the perfect consistency and flavor. The hummus was very tasty as well. I actually didn't see it on the menu, but they have lamb and red meat grape leaves which I'd never had before, but since I missed it on the menu, I ended up with the non vegetarian grape leaves, I noticed the difference right away because the leaf was darker in color; I'm not a big meat eater, but these were actually really good. For folks who aren't vegan and don't like grape leaves, this might be something they might want to try, because it has a very different flavor and are much heartiest. The restaurant is very clean and organized. They were really busy and Kristina the other waitress, was busy the whole time serving, and clearing tables. Such nice staff, too. Gabby was a gem. I have a couple of hand conditions, and I had some issues with some things that I'd never had problems with before- like holding onto the knife whil. And she was kind enough to help me get my leftovers into the carry out containers, I was so grateful for her helping with that. It was embarrassing, but she just made like it was no big deal. If I could give them 10 stars I would! This place is amazing and beautiful! The culture and presence of love at this place is one of the most glorious I have ever stepped in! There is a natural ray of light through their food and everything that my family ordered was perfect! Out salads were huge, lovely, and fresh... enough to take home! The meat there is exquisitely cooked and I felt amazing eating it, all white meat! Many vegetarian options and no bland flavors! The spices exploded awesomely! The portions were enough to have 3-4 meals so my mom doesn’t have to cook for the next day!:) Ms. Brigette gave us 6 extra servings of pita and garlic sauce for home! Then, she treated us with baklava for extra sweet love! Oh, the staff here is amazing! Ms. Brigette and Ms. LuLu expressed care and caressed us with the most incredible service you could ask for! Words cannot explain the level of Love in this place, you have to visit to encounter this incredible hidden diamond! Millions more could be said about Kabob Town! Ugh, all I can say is visit this spectacular vessel of happiness and peace and take in the wonderful spices and cherish their amazing, timely, tasty, satisfying, and beautiful yummy food that’s guaranteed to make you walk out lifted on clouds!! Called to place an order 3 times in a row an hour and a half before they closed. First time no answer, no problem I know they are busy. The second time they picked up and immediately placed me on hold without even saying hello. I assumed it was a mistake and tried again. The third time they picked up on the first ring, said "Hello??" I responded "hi are you open?", "ya", "okay I'd like to place an order" then they huffed like I was the biggest inconvenience so I said "you know what, nevermind, goodbye." for fear of them messing with my food since clearly they don't want to be bothered with.

This used to be a weekly meal for my husband and I, as we've always gotten excellent service with carryout from Brigitte. I don't know who was working tonight but they have God awful customer service. They didn't even said, "hi this is Kabob Town", I almost thought I had the wrong number because I've never had such bad customer service there. The food is excellent. There are times where my order has been incorrect but I never complained and continued to go back because of the delicious food, and always tipped well on my carryout. Now, I don't think I'll be back. As someone who also works in customer service, I know firsthand that just a little hospitality...
