In the restaurants defense I misunderstood what their “shish tawook sandwich included” every other Mediterranean place ive ever been to the shish tawook sandwich has white seasoned chicken, garlic, tabouli salad inside sometimes even turnips, and hummus .. not here its 98% lettuce, 4 small pieces of white chicken, & tomatoes thats all.. i opened the sandwich & was disappointed that the sandwich cost me $8 for something i refused to eat. My boyfriend ordered the Boss sandwich with no lettice, no onion, no mustard & a side of fries.. the fries were clumped together and saugy & they forgot to take off the lettuce. Even though both items were not what we expected i called them to request if i could exchange the sandwiches for something else or ask for a refund since nothing was eaten. Victoria assured us everything i ordered was correct bc it was on the menu & she is right about that she requested i bring the sandwiches back & she will credit us for the next time we come in. After hanging the phone up i decided to order from Kabob town on 21 mile instead and wont be needing the credit bc i wont be returning. This was my first time visiting This establishment & it will be my last. I spent $27 + $5 carry out tip to wait 25 minutes for over priced food i didnt even eat to go spend money on actual Mediterranean food else where. I also ordered their meat grape leaves stuffed with beef that were also disappointingly small, along with this is ordered a side of pita bread and garlic dip. The garlic is oddly a sweet taste rather than garlic. This review is based on taste preference & out of the 25+ Mediterranean places in the area plus all of the ones i have personally tried throughout my life this on was by far the worst tasting, over priced & offered the smallest portions. I was very let down bc both my friends & google reviews lead to me to believe this would be a positive experience when it was the...
Read moreDear Jenna Capobianco (last reviewer), I have been hearing about this place for few months. Finally, last week my wife and I stopped by and had outstanding service and quality of fresh food. I have been in food industry for more then 10 years and have some deep knowledge of food. One thing really caught my eyes on your review is COLD Chix wrap! First of all, it is suppose to be cold. if you put hot meat on a salad and dressing I cant imagine what kind of wrap it will turn out to be. Next time order FAJITA. Before reviewing it would be nice to educate yourself what are you about to eat and have some simple knowledge. Even my 6 years old next door girls knows chicken ceases wrap is cold wrap. OK, I get what you are saying but have you thought or read how many people left outstanding review for this place? I am sure people like you go to every restaurant and starts complains try to get free food. I don't speak about my tips but just because of you, I will share. We were welcomed and left with 20 dollar tip on 30 dollar bill. And this place will be our daily go to place until we get sick of...
Read moreWe stopped for dinner. Is this really the same place everyone else raves about in the other reviews? Ain't NO WAy it is. The soups were brought out cold; I guess the waitress took them back and microwaved them. Then they came back super hot. We ordered a schwarma bowl and schwarma with fries. The chicken is very finely shredded and spread out to appear that there's a larger amount. It had the consistency of tuna fish (or cat food). I've never had schwarma meat shredded that tiny. The was a minute amount of hummus and it's obvious they skimp on ingredients. The schwarma sandwich mixed hot and cold ingredients together in a press which made it luke warm. Again, tiny shreds of chicken with a tuna fish texture and the order of fries was tiny. The quality of food overall was poor and I don't think it was just us because the table across from us was complaining to the waitress about their food. The place is grungy and could use a deep clean. There's a ton of middle eastern restaurants in the area go anywhere else. I don't recommend this...
