I don’t usually post negative reviews and just ignore a bad experience but when multiple items were sub-par I felt the urge to post this. When taking our order at the drive thru (which was a combo meal and kids meal) they didn’t ask us at all what sides or drinks we wanted. They were even giving me my total before I had to clarify on those items. Were they just going to pick a side and drink for us? Next, the Runza sandwich I received was almost all bread. I could be wrong but it felt like it was much less meat & filling than I’ve ever had before in a Runza sandwich. Then my son’s kids meal didn’t have multiple chicken strips. It looked like 2-3 strips all breaded together in one chunk. Not a big deal, but for those parents out there you know how it can be trying to get kids to eat things, especially if it’s not what they are expecting. Last, when we got to our destination and pulled out the food there was no napkins. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. If people are eating fast food and grabbing it from a drive thru odds are they are busy and having to eat quickly and on the go so napkins are vital. I love Runza and will be back but I sure hope they improve these little things to improve their service or I’ll be avoiding this location if...
Read moreI went to Runza the last three days just to end up with rotten food… the first day, I got a sweet berry chicken salad. It didn’t smell right, but I was hungry so I was going to eat it anyways. I began eating it, only left with a horrible taste in my mouth after the first bite. I checked my salad salad, only to find every piece of spinach was rotten. The leaves were soggy, slimy, and covered in a black coloration, indicating it was spoiled. I didn’t eat it.
The next day, I went back because I do enjoy that salad. I got the same results. I was unable to eat yet again. I was very unhappy.
So today, the third day, I went to get another salad, but I asked them to please check the spinach to make sure it’s fresh. They said it was good and handed me the salad. The instant I opened the lid, there were blackened, soggy spinach leaves. I pulled a few out and asked them to exchange it for a fresh salad. They handed me another salad. I was confident that this one would be consumable. I pull away, stop to eat, and yet again, I’m left pulling out rotten spinach leaves. I won’t be eating there again.
What a waste of money....

These employees never complain and are friendly and all is always accurate. I work in a restaurant and appreciate the customer service as I know it’s a pain to have special requests and to have to special-make the burgers and portion all the toppings in ramekins on the side. I’ve never felt like a bother and just wanted you to know my requests are for a specific need and dietary restriction.
