We checked this place out because it was connected to our hotel. One of my kids got a chocolate crossiant and LOVED it. She said it was so flaky and the flavor was great, but not too overpowering. We all got coffees with plant milk. They have quite a few options for this, including soy, oat, almond and coconut. Be forewarned there is an upcharge for these though. Overall, we all liked the coffees we had and the atmosphere. A bit on the pricier side though...

Cute, kitschy, dog-friendly shop across from Lincoln Park (the actual park) alongside the lobby of retro boutique Hotel Lincoln. Big leather couches and old ripped wall-paper create a mid-century vintage-hipster vibe with the Park squirrels, ducks and Ratatouille soundtrack (I shazamed it) providing even more atmosphere. Another sweet little place I’ve driven past dozens (hundreds?) of times without noticing.

Located inside the lobby of the Lincoln hotel, this cozy spot has a small selection of breakfast sandwiches, a decent number of pastries, and a standard selection of specialty drinks. Not a ton of seating, but the space is cozy and well decorated.

Awful “manager”. Woman with long blonde hair was giving me and my service dog dirty looks as we waited in line . I watched as she ran back and forth , angrily barking at her employees . She apologized to the man in front of me in line ; for he attitude . He said “it’s ok we all have angry days”: her attitude was THAT palpable . Then when I get to the front of the line I find out they only have skim milk , no whole or 2%. Because there was a sign up saying they didn’t take cards that day I said I’d take the FREE drip the sign offered .then she tells me the sign is wrong. So they have no normal milk , she is running around barking at people , and then she barks at ME for asking for a free coffee , I asked her what her problem was . Told her I didn’t give her attitude , and she told me she could just refuse me service at to leave. Unfortunately the fact she was giving me attitude from the moment my extremely large dog walked in , makes her refusal of service a violation of the ADA . The woman is a disgruntled angry bigot , had wet or greasy long hair and her belly literally hanging out . I am filing a complaint with the state of Illinois for disability related discrimination and will never be treated...

Hours say that they are open until 5 however this is almost never the case. They seem to close at a different time each day with no explanation. I try to go for lunch often but I am tired of walking over for them to be closed at different times throughout the morning/afternoon with seemingly no pattern. They also have about 10-20% of the items listed on their menu actually in stock at any given time which also quite annoying. I do enjoy the food (If they have it, and are open when they say they will be) but the inconsistency here is too much for me. I was told that the hours listed online would go back into effect after Memorial Day however I tried to go after and they had closed at 11 🤷🏻. I’m giving up for now, hopefully they can find...

These guys went above & beyond, thank you Nino! My wife & I were staying at the Hotel Lincoln, and she'd been to Elaine's before and was very excited to come down & get their peanut butter panini, which is the best panini she's ever had. Unfortunately, they were sold out of them on this morning. She was really bummed and so she got something else. 15 minutes later, our Barista Nino came out with a peanut butter panini. He had taken the time to go speak to the chef at the restaurant, throw some of the key ingredients together from what they had, and he made my wife the panini she really wanted. We were ecstatic and very grateful. All the staff were so warm & friendly and so was the atmosphere...
