A little gem. Simply-THE BEST- “Consommé de Camarone” in Chicago’s multiple numbers of Mexican Seafood Restaurants. And- YES-they do have tables outside!🙌🏼”tienes mesas al aire libre”

Pay no attention to The Police Camera on the Opposite Corner of Kedzie & 38th.... it simply means, you are MORE safe! 😎🤔

Do try the “Empanadas de Camarón”- a plate that’s loaded with perfectly-cooked seafood flavored rice, 3 very ample-sized Shrimp Empeñadas and 2-salads, one of which is a wonderfully savory crab (imitation) coleslaw, along with a Lettuce/Tomato salad- For $13.95-it’s enough food for a couple-to enjoy together .

Be sure to ask, for a squeeze bottle of house-made-“dressing”-to squirt on a saltine cracker-a sublime...

Horrible experience due to fishy smelling food and terribly rude staff and owners. Do not patronize the con artists that run this place. The staff doesn't care about anything you say and are hostile and rude. The owners are some really trashy, classless recent arrivals who seem to be scamming their "customers" with old food and bait-and-switch drinks. you don't get what you paid for and the scamming owners aren't going to try to make anything right. My friend Anni and I went and absolutely regretted going in. Everything about the place is just disgusting. I STRONGLY WARN YOU TO AVOID GOING INTO THIS PLACE. truly a waste of money and time. you'll only feel like you got taken...

They have great seasoning, but don't use quality ingredients. The complementary shrimp condone was delicious the best part of my experience there.

I had the shrimp empanadas. The shrimp inside my empanadas where the small Asian shrimp. They tasted rubbery and muddy. Due to their sizes they where not gutted and cleaned.

The ceviche de camarón was also prepared using the small Asian shrimp. I personally belive Ceviche should always be prepared with a large shrimp from gulf of Mexico.

The decor is hip and modern, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant was now the best.
