J&W Grill — Restaurant in Chickasha

Stopped by this place because it looked old school, and it was! A counter with barstools diner style. And it looks like everything is cooked on a flat top too. The menu is not extensive burger, dogs, fries and Chilli! I had the coney dog and frito pie. The dog came open face smothered in chilli, cheese, raw onions and their house made slaw! I inhaled it! It is probably the best chilli dog I have ever had! The house made slaw hits this out of the park! Super finely diced and kinda on the sweet side! The chili was meaty and good! The frito pie was the same awesome chilli laddeled over a bed of fritos with cheese and raw onions! I asked for more of their slaw to put onmy frito pie, because it complements their chilli so well! Since their menu is so limited service is super quick! Next time I'm in Chickasha visiting in-laws I will definitely stop in...

Greeted upon entry. All seats are at the bar and grill. All food is made in front of you. The portions are big especially the French fries. I am not an onion fan but I had to try the onion and cheeseburger because it is one of their popular items. The onions are cut into thin strips and are grilled to tenderness. It’s a good burger. The small order of fries are served as a tall pile in a basket and there were so many that two of us still couldn’t finish it. I can’t wait to try their tater tots. We tried the chili cheese hot dog. It was served hot and was good. The actual hot dog is kind of small but it was still good. And although everything was good and tasty, the best part was the price-$12.00 for two of us. Greated as I walked in. Served a beverage within seconds of sitting at the counter! Wowed by the service right off the start! My hunger ways got ahold of my decision making and I looked at the menu board and mumbled something that made sense to the server..."Double cheeseburger small add bacon and grilled onions" with a small side of fries...coming right up sir. The service was top notch. The flavors of the burger ...life changing. The fries were piping hot ... in hindsight I should have stayed with a single Patty burger with cheese, bacon and onion.
