Been to Roy’s many times when the old owners had it. Kinda the same…the half portion dinner is portion size of middle school lunch. The brisket was tender, ribs good - not much meat on them, pinto beans questionable, potato salad could’ve been more mustard or something, coleslaw was great and creamy. Those waffle fries are EXPENSIVE at $7.25 smh. Crazy. Bring cash as they charge for using debit cards smh.

Very down to earth and low key diner that knows how to stay with what works! Food is outstanding, staff friendly and prices were were so low I don't see how still in business... Family owned and have stayed true to the values of how society should celebrate each other and they cook for the public as if we are kin....Not just a diner....but a nostalgic experience from good ole days...

I had a 2 meat dinner, ribs nd brisket with a side of beans plus I had the waffle fries. All was good, the brisket was well seasoned but sliced to thin for my taste I like thick slices with some bark on them. The pork ribs are good. The beans are ok. The waffle fries are good nd you better have at least 2 people to finish the order of fries.

I was delighted to pull in; there were no flashy signs, but mostly because the parking lot wasn't full and I was staaaarving. We were instantly comfortable... Smelling BBQ that could've come from home. The server was quick to bring our sweet tea (perfectly sweet) and to explain their menu for us. The Mister had ribs & sausage, beans and potato salad while I ordered ribs "old style". (Old style is basically a la carte) Our food was delivered almost before we ordered it and the ribs were unbelievable...perfectly done. I adored the Hot BBQ sauce. Even the bread was as fresh as sliced bread could be. The employees worked as a team, acknowledged customers by name and took to go orders with proficiency rarely shown these days. One of the employees showed patience and a sense of humor while explaining the cash register system, refreshing as he wasn't rolling his eyes back in his head...he was genuinely helping his co-worker. I highly recommend this place and will eat here many times before...

Worst experience I've had in a while. Called ahead to reserve a table, told them we would be there around 5. Never mentioned that they only take cash or check. Multiple family members were meeting here from out of town, not all of us had showed up yet. Waitress was acomadating at first, but then got pushy with us wanting us to go ahead and order. Not all of our party had shown up. "I'm just letting you know because we close at 7 and we start shutting everything down. So if you don't order soon, there might not be enough of what you are wanting." My brother had asked her if we should just go somewhere else, to which she replied, "that's up to you, but I'm just letting you know that we close at 7." Seems to me that if you are a small business, and have a large group come in especially from out of town, you would accommodate the group instead of watching 15 paying customers walk out of your establishment as dissatisfied...

First time here and got there after the main lunch crowd. This is a cash only establishment. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Pork ribs were bland with a hint of smoke flavor, no rub on them,, but cooked right. The "smoked" sausage looked and tasted like store bought Eckrich polish sausage. Didn't even have a smoke flavor. The beans were beans. The potato salad and cole slaw were full of flavor and unfortunately was the highlight of our meals. You can tell it's a family business and while there I could tell that they have regular customers. The spicy BBQ sauce was really good too. Prices were average...
