Mi Taquito Grill — Restaurant in Chico

This happened multiple times where my family and I go there. The food is great! (When they get it right). I have never complained for myself but plenty of times my wife's order is wrong. Everytime I go I order the Same a shrimp super burrito. Well I got a burrito alright. But without shrimp or any meat what so ever. I was right next to my wife when she ordered and she definitely ordered a shrimp super burrito. With a side of shrimp also. I have heard this answer almost Everytime I go there and that is I didn't charge you for it. So if she didn't charge for a shrimp super burrito then why would you put the shrimp on the side? If the shrimp is on the side instead of inside the burrito wouldn't you still charge for a shrimp burrito? If they didn't charge for shrimp burrito why put the shrimp with the burrito if that makes sense. It's always something they didn't charge for. And I know every time my son orders a jarrito we get there and guess what they didn't charge for it of course. And Everytime we pay for it after we have paid already. Take initiative and take responsibility for mistakes not lie and say we didn't charge every time there's something not right....

I love me some mi taquito. It’s really good. There’s only one issue I have with this place and I definitely don’t blame Rosa for it, but it happens every single time we go. My husband bless his heart, gets the toots! Now before ya’ll start hating on me let me explain.. I personally don’t shy away from the everyday toots a good healthy man graces a room with. That would be mean. These mi taquito toots though… there on a whole other level. The will make your hairs in your nose stand up, then linger for hours causing a person to lose the ability to smell entirely. Believe me, if you can even survive it till that level. Cause one thing is for certain, you will be tanking the good lord Jesus for sparing your ability to use that sense for awhile. One time it made be so sick that I threw up. Literally. He always feels so bad about the detriment we all have to endure from his puffs of death. But he is not willing to stop eating at the taco truck. So that in my opinion lets the food speak for itself. Maria is amazing. Oh and me?? Do I have issues. Heyll no! Girls don’t...

Order list: -4 taco special -1 small side of beans and rice -1 California burrito -1 Horchata What we got -2 tacos -1side of beans and rice -1 California burrito -1 fish taco? -“Horchata”

Food quality: Overall was awful and dry. The rice and beans were lacking any flavor not to mention dry as a bone. The two tacos we did get out of four were the only good thing. The california burrito has probably less than 1/4th cup of chicken in the whole thing and was mouthfuls of fries and sauce.

I loveeee my beans and rice I just wanted some good old fashioned food like grandma makes. But this was not it. If you want rice and beans and don’t know how to, goto foodmax and get some pasta roni “Spanish rice” way better and cheaper.

Drink: Horchata is a simple but delightful rice milk based drink. What we got was sand. We got sand. Our mouths were coated with cinnamon in not a fun way and something else. Instead of being refreshing it was just awful mouthfuls of sand. I really wish I could get a refund so I can finally get some real tacos...
