This was a spur of the moment decision. I had been craving Indian food and spotted this place on Google Maps. I suddenly remembered that this was the Indian place my buddy had suggested to me. Since it was on the way, I decided to give it a try. The full parking lot when we pulled up was a good sign.

I wasn't expecting a buffet, but I was completely fine with this set up, as it cost about as much as you would pay for a regular meal and you can sample multiple items and eat as much as you want. The menu wasn't very large, but the items they had on offer were tasty and it had a nice variety of veggie and meat dishes, so it was perfect for someone who's still kind of new to Indian food. I don't know if they cut down because of Covid or if it was because we came during lunch time, but this was the first restaurant I went to where I wasn't offered any drinks, besides water. I found this a bit strange. There was also no flat bread. The pictures I saw online made it seem like it was a regular restaurant, so I don't know if that changed at some point, or if I'm just missing something.

That being said though, this was only the second time I dined at a "proper" Indian restaurant, and the experience didn't disappoint. The food was good, but the ambience of the place was what really earned it points in my book. That was the only thing that really made it stand out from other buffet style restaurants. Now, is it something to write home about, maybe not. But being one of the only few Indian restaurants in Butte County, I could totally see myself dining here again and suggesting it...

Don't let the word buffet turn you away. I have been to several Indian restaurants in Sacramento and Bay area and I will say this place is one of the best. I came in not expecting much but I was surprised. The food was fresh and super tasty. Food doesn't taste like your typical buffet where it has been sitting out all day. The staff is constantly bringing out new fresh dishes. The naan was so buttery and soft and fluffy. Everything was delicious and I can't emphasize over and over about the freshness of the food. The staff were super attentive and friendly. My only suggestion would be to have some sign to tell people that come in that you offer buffet during lunch time. New and first timers like myself would not know this. So we sat around waiting for a menu. But the staff was still great and fast at asking if we wanted a menu or if we were interested in the buffet. In short the food was great and the staff was wonderful. My little family and I will definitely be...

This place has great potential, but is not quite up to five stars. Food is good, almost great -- love their tea and south Indian specialties. But they served me the first dosa of the day, and, like any pancake, it was the one you throw away, not the one you serve. Then there was a mix up over payment, because I was asking just for a refund for that greasy dosa, but they wanted to serve another -- long story short, I got charged extra for a second one, when I just wanted to turn down the first one and leave it at that. Also, neighborhood is a bit seedy -- I mean, really, I've seen drug deals going down around this nieghborhood, so not the best pick ever. Anyhow, don't let these minor things get in the way of trying this place -- the food is really good, I think the best around, but your experience of the place may not be top notch until they read a few reviews like this one and get their...

It’s really one of good indian restaurants i’ve ever visited. If you are traveling via chico, i would recommend this place on the go.. 🚘 They have good menu either a la crate or “Thali” options. Also a la carte option comes with rice and naan bread. In Appetizer we tried Samosa, Medu Vada, Gobi Manchurian. I liked Gobi Manchurian over other items. Tandoor Chicken was nice 👍 Mine was not spicy but ask for spice level. I’m pretty sure you can get it spicy as well. Well served, clean dinning room, food was amazing. 4/5 ⭐️ 1 less ⭐️ for hygiene - Restroom wasn’t clean. overall good experience.

Amazing food, always come out fresh with so much flavor. They have many options and a lot of it isn't too hot for most people, but they also have hotter spice if you want it. Butter chicken with garlic naan bread is one of my favorites, I could eat it all day long. Vegetable pakora is super tasty too, really you just can't go wrong. Lots of options for different dietary restrictions like diabetics, celiac disease, keto, and vegetarian. Must have, especially if you've never had Indian food. It will open you up to a whole new world of food.
