We recently visited the Chino Cafe for a family brunch and were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, while the food absolutely delivered, the service left a lot to be desired.
From the start, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. Despite arriving with excitement and high expectations, we were barely checked on throughout the meal. Our food took an unusually long time to arrive — and to make matters worse, other tables who were seated after us received their meals well before we did.
As someone who’s currently pregnant, I requested alternative seating since booths are uncomfortable for me, but the staff was unwilling to accommodate in the beginning. That lack of flexibility and consideration was disappointing and frankly surprising for a brunch spot that otherwise seemed family-friendly.
That said, the food was fantastic — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the visit. It’s just a shame that the quality of the service didn’t match the kitchen’s performance.

I WILL NEVER...

After 15 minutes when a party of 5 came up and got a table within 30 seconds I said, "hey, that's our table." Then is when I was told that my whole party wasn't here and they don't sit anyone down until all there.
Should have been told that from the beginning!!! Spoke to Manager to complain. He said I blew it out of proportion. Told him it's his job to hear complaints and told him to have a good day. Won't be going...
